Whenever there is something you need to prove through the Bible when people talk about the divinity of Christ, these verses are one of the best examples. Jesus Christ is not just a human. Yes, He became human because of His mission into the coming of this world but Jesus is one with the Father, thus making God as one and proving the Jesus is God, not a human. It was testified by John the Baptist for He said that Jesus existed from the beginning—that He existed before any others.
A lot of doctrines spread all over the world and many people are deceived in these teachings. And before they knew it, instead of coming closer to God, they became someone whom God despises. We need to be mindful of the doctrines that are being taught to us and learn to read the Word with the help of the Holy Spirit, for the Spirit will speak the truth and will enable us to hear God more directly and exactly.
