"Black Out"

••this was a black out poem for my government class, meaning I could only use words from the Declaration of Independence••

For people to connect and assume equal respect,
We are endowed with unalienable rights,
Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness,
Destructive governments which abuse these colonies now constrains them to tyranny,
The pressing importance of representation has called for protecting our consent by separation and to be free, independent states
With divine providence and sacred honor.
