I hope one day I can be as carefree as the clouds,
let my thoughts turn and twist me in every direction, rain down my past life, recollections, express through this sleet my mistakes and my corrections.
I hope one day I can be as mighty as the mountains towering above me,
Stronger than the people trying to break it down,
let lightning strike my bones like the pines in the mountains and leave a scar of wisdom behind,
I'm not saying I want to be Mother Nature, but all one can wish is to be her apprentice. acknowledge the willpower of the world around us.
I don't want to be like these busy bees, cars in the streets, constantly looking for material items to buy, something more to drive the human high. but I'm getting there. Day by day.
I am strong but merely a hill,
I am patient but merely a fog, until
white linings, puffs of angel smoke smiling down at me, whisper to me,
"You'll never be perfect, but you can die happily knowing you tried to be, living simply and enjoying the energy around you"
