"When the Watch Runs Out"

Isn't time such a funny concept?
I've wasted so much of mine on you,
but that's just one way to perceive it,
the minute hand chasing me, trying to drag me down tell me I'm out of time no where left to hide,
hide my insecurities in the hours,
it ain't so funny when you run out of power,
like Big Ben, I'm locked up in a tower,
waiting for the clock to hit twelve,
Dying to know if the wait was even worth it,
yeah I'm dying.
spent my whole life on your watch,
Yet now I see you threw mine away,
Because my time ain't shit right?
Wasting a dime to spend some quality time for my side aint shit right?
I'm not saying you need to be rich, but stop acting like we don't run on the same cycle,
I'm so tired of this cycle.
Time is such a funny concept.
Because even when you run out, and you're wore down,
It keeps on ticking without you, as if you're the man-made, made up construct.
