Her heart raced. She gripped onto the sheets of the bed. Sweat dripped down her forehead. Her eyes fidgeting in her sleep, her mind far away from sanity.
Her breathing hitched, the world was spinning and she felt like she was lost. She tried to grip onto the rope of nothing. A rope that would lead her where? She didn't know.
She wanted to scream, but her voice was stolen from her.
She wanted to cry, but she no longer had tears.
She wanted to run, but her heart wouldn't let her.
She wanted to piece herself back together, but she lost the pieces.
Now she has to find it.
