best friend: "And take this one, too. Try on both and see which one you like."

y/n: "How come you found your dress after only one store but it's taking me three?"
serena: "Because you are my favorite dress up doll. Now, get back inside the dressing room and try on those dresses. Chop, chop!"
[Y/N enters dressing room]
y/n: (mumbles) "I hate trying on clothes... I look like a potato in everything anyway..."
[Y/N's phone rings]
y/n: (gasps) "Soobin!"
soobin: "Ow. Why are you yelling?"
y/n: "S-sorry. Hi."
soobin: "Hey, I finished my essay early. Where are you? I can meet up with you and Serena and we can eat somewhere."
y/n: "And [best friend], too?"
soobin: "Sure."
y/n: "Great! I'm at the mall trying on dresses for Serena's wedding."
soobin: "Serena's getting married?"
y/n: "No, no, sorry! Serena's cousin's wedding."
soobin: "Shoot, that's right. I still need to pick out a tux."
y/n: "A tux? Why?"
soobin: "I'm your plus one, remember? Man, I need to get you a new planner or something. Maybe I'll help you organize your Google calendar later."
y/n: "No, sorry, I just blanked out. I remember."
soobin: (laughs) "Good. You better not bring another plus one."
y/n: "I would never."
soobin: "I'll see you in a few minutes. I'm actually not that far away."
y/n: "Okay! Bye."
soobin: "Bye."

serena: "[y/n], we found another... hey, why are you standing there grinning?"
y/n: "Hm? Oh, nothing. I tried on the two dresses."
best friend: "And?"
y/n: "They don't fit me well."
serena: (sighs) "Okay, try on these three. But try on the yellow lace one first. I feel like it'll look really pretty on you."
y/n: "Okay."
best friend: "I need to pee. I'll be right back."
y/n: "Sure."
[Y/N enters dressing room]
y/n: "The yellow one first, right?"
serena: "Right."
y/n: "Okay. I just... ow..."
serena: "What's wrong?"
y/n: "I can't take off the dress I'm wearing."
serena: "What do you mean? It's in your size."
y/n: "I know but I..." (groans) "The sleeves are stuck."
serena: "Alright, hold on."
y/n: "Okay. Can you hurry, though? I can't see anything with all this fabric over my head."
(silence)
y/n: "Serena? Are you still the--"
(doorknob jiggles)
y/n: "Okay, give me a second. I can't see anything... can you keep turning it? I'm trying to feel for the doorknob."
(doorknob jiggles)
y/n: "Okay, you can come in now. Can you pull the fabric down all the--" (yelps)
[Y/N turns around]
y/n: "Ow, you didn't have to tug so..... Soobin!"
soobin: "Hi."
y/n: "What are you... I'm... I mean, I was--"
soobin: "I got here faster than I thought. Serena was looking for someone to help you with your dress but you sounded desperate, so I just stepped in. Didn't want you to become blind from fabric."
y/n: "Um... t-thank you..."
soobin: "Wow. You look..."
y/n: "Does it look bad?"
soobin: "No. Are you kidding me? You look beautiful."
(silence)
soobin: "[y/n]. Hellooo?"
best friend: "Hey, I found another dress for you to... Soobin, what are you doing here?"
soobin: "I finished my essay early so I told her we could all grab a bite to eat."
best friend: "Cool.... I just have one question."
soobin: "Mhm?"
best friend: (whispers) "Why does [y/n] look like she's gone into electric shock?"
soobin: "I don't know."
best friend: "What did you say to her?"
soobin: "Nothing, I just said she looks beautiful in that dress."
best friend: "Oh, jesus."
soobin: "What? Where are you going?"
best friend: "To get Serena. After what you just said, it's gonna take two of us to get her out of her catatonic state."
