serena: "What are you going to get?"
best friend: "A banzai burger. You?"
serena: "A whiskey river BBQ chicken wrap."
best friend: "Cool."
serena: "Yep."
(silence)
serena: "So... our first hang out."
best friend: "Yeah. It's weird."
serena: "Very weird. Why did we never do it before?"
best friend: "Because you hate me."
serena: "No, you hate me!"
best friend: "Well, now we have to call a truce because of [y/n]."
serena: "About that, I've been meaning to ask you something."
best friend: "Okay."
serena: "You know that [y/n] and I have been best friends for a long time. Years and years and years. I know her like the back of my own hand."
best friend: "O-kaay. And?"
serena: "And my question is..." (leans in) "Where is she?"
best friend: "What do you mean? She's at the movies with Soobin, she literally just told us earlier."
serena: "Nope. Because that is not [y/n]."
(silence)
serena: "She's been acting really strange since that day when she thought Soobin was a k-pop idol. We barely text. When I do talk to her, it's awkward. She doesn't seem to remember much."
best friend: (shrugs) "Maybe she's just tired."
serena: "No, I don't believe that. What did you do to her?"
best friend: "What the hell are you talking about?"
serena: "Have you been slipping her drugs?"
best friend: "No, are you crazy?"
serena: "I just know in my gut that that is not [y/n]. Now, you better tell me the truth right now or I'll march up to [y/n] right now and get it myself."
best friend: "Okay, calm down. Jesus." (sighs)
serena: "I'm waiting."
best friend: "You'll never believe it."
serena: "Is she an alien?"
best friend: "No."
serena: "Is it like a Parent Trap situation? She has a secret twin?"
best friend: "No."
serena: "Then I'll believe it. What happened?"
best friend: "This [y/n] is from a different universe where you hate her and I'm her best friend and Soobin is a k-pop idol from this group called TXT, short for Tomorrow by Together, and she's been placed into our universe to help Soobin get onto the path of stardom where he belongs, otherwise she'll combuse or get stuck here or who knows what will happen but what needs to get done will get done."
(silence)
best friend: "Have you gone into shock?"
serena: "So you've not only slipped drugs into her system, but into your own?"
best friend: "No. Think about it: why else would she not remember anything? And suddenly Soobin is joining dance classes and singing again?"
serena: "If you're telling the truth..."
best friend: "Which I am."
serena: "There's no way she can do this on her own. She needs an entire team of people."
best friend: "We don't have enough money to find Soobin an agent, and he hasn't been scouted yet."
serena: "We need to talk to her."
best friend: "So, you believe me?"
serena: "Maybe. Are you willing to take a drug test?"
