"You did it." Daijiro congratulated.
"What's your next, big step?"

Ethan clenched his fist.

"I'm going to find out the truth about Peace." He replied.

Daijiro let out a groan.
"Boring!" He exclaims.

"I can't help her if I don't know what's been holding her."
Ethan explained.

"Fine. Memory Lane's.... That way." Daijiro pointed to nowhere.

A confused expression appeared on the azure-haired male's face.

"...What are you exactly pointing at—"
Ethan was interrupted by a harsh flick to his forehead.

The force was unbelievably strong. Making him lose his balance for a moment.

The male quickly regained his balance, but found himself in an unfamiliar territory.

The clattering of metal echoed in the room.

The faint sounds of thumping drummed.

Ethan turned towards the opposite directions, looking for any explanation of what the hell was going on.

----
"Skin, too thick. Heartbeat, fading. Time? Thirty minutes. His rib cage is in the way. My scalpel can't make it." A small voice mumbled.

She was no older than eight.
Her silver-white hair shone in the dim lights.
Her crimson red eyes glinted.
A surgical mask covered half her face.
Surgical gloves on her hands, and a scalpel danced on between her fingers.

"Deep breaths. Feel the cool touch of your scalpel. Keep staring at the skin. Keep opening." The girl continued to mumble. Her fingers fiddling with the scalpel as she opened the older male's chest on the surgery table.

She was alone in the room. Not a single soul in sight.
Only the dim ceiling light, that was shone faithfully.

The room smelt of rust, and the familiar scent of old books.

"I did it." The girl suddenly announced.

The sound of a creaking door opened.
A series of footsteps trotted towards the girl.

Another girl, with red blood hair. Donned in a green and brown maid outfit with a long skirt and an apron, appeared. She held out a rusty platter.

"Just in time, Lady Anne." The young maid commented the white-haired girl.

"Are they watching?" Anne placed the human organ in the platter.

"Of course, all eyes will be on you tonight." The maid answered.

Anne took off her surgical mask.
"Very well."

---

"Brothers and Sisters! Mother! Father! We are gathered here tonight to return peace! Society has fallen down along with its people, and ever since, have brought themselves the damnation upon their souls." Anne announced, as she stood on the pulpit.
