kalani tyler isn't usually the type to speak up to anyone apart from her best friend allyana,what will change after she spends a couple days together with aiden thomas? :)

ally^ kalani's pov:
the whole bus ride ally and i were talking about random stuff, "did you know that a shrimp's heart is located in it's head?" she said facing me "okay but did you know that elephants are the only animals that can't jump" i said looking at her
we both burst out laughing,ally has been my best friend since we were little kids our mom's were best friends so they grew us like sisters we went to the same schools and spent most of our time together.
the bus stopped and we were broken up into teams by colour,ally and i got orange so as we got off the bus we looked for anybody else with orange.
as we stood there we saw this tall dark boy and he had orange so we went over to him "hi my name's jay" he said flashing a smile at us i felt ally squeeze my hand as if she wanted her nails to dig into my flesh,i let out a slight squeal and looked at her she was smiling hard asf and i just figured maybe she had a thing for jay.

"yoooo" i heard someone call out so i turned around slightly to see who it was,aiden came over to us he had orange too he dapped up jay i've seen them around school together many times i just presumed that they were best friends
"where you guys wanna go first?" he said, "we can't go by ourselves we have to get a schedule and a tour guide" i replied softly not looking at him, ally realized what was happening so she held my hand and striked up a slight conversation with the boys.
"so aiden why'd you decide to take this trip" she asked, "i want to major in marine biology in college" he responded and i smiled a little because that was going to be my major too.
"what about you jay" she asked looking at him, "hmm i'm not really sure,i still don't know what i wanna do yet but i know it's going to be in the veterinary sector" he said looking at ally
okay these two are going somewhere
"orange?" i heard someone call out "over here" i said a cute little blonde girl came over to us with a bright smile and schedules, "okay so i have you guys today and from what i'm hearing this group is filled with animal enthusiasts" she said handing us our schedules
i scanned the schedule and made a mental note of it "follow me" she said,ally and i walked closely behind her with our hands together and the boys followed behind.
my mind started to drift off a little until i heard ally's voice "repeat that i didn't hear you" i said she rolled her eyes and hit me on my arm "you weren't listening to a word i said" she whined with a pout "you're so childish" i responded and we laughed.
"okay here we have the savanna grassland exhibit,now these animals are known for their adaptations to a very hot climate and little water" the tour guide whose name we later found out was jessie explained to us
i canvased the exhibit and i saw two large elephants with a baby elephant,there were three sections to this exhibit the second section had a female cheetah with her baby and the third exhibit had a pride of lions and i watched as a male lion was being fed,something about being so close to a lion didn't sit right with me so i couldn't wait to move
on our way to the marine animals exhibit ally and jay had been walking together for the past three exhibits and i just had my hands in my pockets walking by myself.
"yo you okay?" aiden asked catching up to me "i'm fine" i said softly "you haven't been talking are you sure you're good?" he asked wanting reassurance "yup i'm fine just hungry i guess" he nodded and reached out to interlock his hand with mine and we stayed like that.
towards the entrance of the marine exhibit i looked to the side and i nearly screamed "omgggg a pandaaaa!!" i said more to myself,since i was little i'd been in love with pandas,i even had a panda phone case,panda bed slippers,panda shirts,hats,everything i even had on panda socks right now.
"yep that's our newest addition to the panda exhibit his name is ling" jessie said walking over to me noticing my interest in the little guy "wanna pet him?" she asked "wtf i cannn?" i asked shocked "of course you can" she said going around to a special area
i then saw a guy exit the exhibit with the baby panda in his hand "okay he's fairly new here so he's not that used to human interaction just be gentle" he said as i nodded my head in agreement
he handed me the panda and it was the cutest thing i've ever seen,it cuddled right into me and his fur was so soft "say cheese" i heard ally say and i turned around to flash her a smile so she could take pictures.
after the exhibit
aiden and i had still been walking with our hands together,it felt so natural i didn't even remember that we were still doing it. we head over to the food court to grab something to eat,ally and jay had wondered off together but she said she'll text me when it was time to leave
aiden ordered nachos and i ordered a jumbo hotdog "you gonna eat all that" he asked pointing at my food "is that a challenge?" i questioned raising my eyebrow he shrugged his shoulders then we began to eat
after a short time i had finished everything and he just looked at me "what?" i said noticing his stare "nothing i just didn't know you'd eat it all" he responded "okay but don't stare that's weird" i said getting up to throw away my garbage as he followed behind
we were free for the rest of the day until the bus came back at 6 so we decided to walk around a bit
"hey close your eyes" he said "why,you gonna kill me?" i asked turning to face him ,he walked up in front of me and looked down in my face i'm really short so i had to look up "i ain't finna kill you just do it please" he said and i just agreed "fine,but incase you're still trying to kill me my dad's a soldier" i said covering my eyes as he laughed
we walked for a good five minutes then he said "open your eyes" i looked at the scene and it was an area filled with trees,it looked like a rainforest and if you knew me you'd know how much i loved areas like this as they made me feel calm.
"how'd you know i like rainforests?" i asked turning to him "your instagram,i checked it out after i saw you post that picture this morning and i saw a post about it" he said walking around to me,he stood behind me and gave me a hug from behind "i hope you like it" he whispered softly "i do" i replied and we stayed there for what felt like forever until the bus came.
