chapter 14

the ride back to the hotel was anything but quiet, from what i was hearing there would be a huge party next saturday before we went back to college.

ally must've realized my interest in whatever was being said because she looked at me "you wanna go?" she looked confused but excited at the same time

"yeah sure why not? i mean it's one last blow out before we have to go back to our boring ass lives" i rolled my eyes at the thought of going back to a life of dorm rooms and frat parties

"okay but can we atleast go shopping, i heard it's at a lake or something and i didn't pack a good swimsuit" she squeezed my arm and did those puppy eyes that she'd always do since we were kids

"fineee" i laughed and pushed her off of me.

i looked up to see aiden looking at me so i flashed a smile at him and he smiled back. he gestured to me asking if  i could move to where he was sitting and i nodded, i asked ally if it was okay and she said that it was totally fine because she has bailed on me numerous times to stay with jay and it was only fair

i hugged her and slid out of the seat to go sit beside of aiden.

"how nice of you to join me" he said and i laughed at his playfulness "don't get used to it" i rolled my eyes and fixed myself properly in the seat

"what're you gonna do after we go back to college?" he asked looking at me

"i mean there isn't much to do apart from work towards getting my degree and see if i can get an internship at a research center" i shrugged my shoulders as i responded

"but what about life? you gonna still live with your parents? you're kinda an adult now so what are your plans for that aspect of life?"  i furrowed my brows and looked away, i didn't have much of an answer because i hadn't really thought about that

"i might look for apartments after i graduate and i have to get a car as soon as i get back, bus life isn't really for me" i laughed and he joined

we got back to the hotel and everyone got out of the bus stopping to talk with various people before going their separate ways.

aiden was talking to jay so i stood up and waited until he was finished. i looked up from my phone to see him walking up to me, "you ready?" i looked around before answering "huh?" he smiled at me and took my hand

"i talked to jay, i'm your roommate again" he said and i absorbed every word

"what about ally?" i asked confused, "she's staying with jay again" he responded and i nodded.

i went over to ally and gave her a tight hug "we're going shopping friday" she whispered in my ear and i agreed before letting her go then i walked back over to where aiden was standing.

aiden and i were walking back to the room and suddenly i started to feel a sharp pain coming from my back, i had to hold on to a wall for support. it felt like little sharp needles were sticking into my spine

"you okay" aiden asked looking really worried, "yeah i'm fine it's just my back i think it's from earlier, every time i move it hurts more" i groaned when i felt another sharp pain

"get on my back" aiden said as he turned around and i jumped up "you actually aren't that heavy" i hit his arm and laughed "i'm not big you know" he smiled and started to walk.

as soon as we got back to the room aiden walked into the bedroom and helped ease me on the bed, "thank you" i said with a slight smile

"no problem,but just so you know if i start feeling any pain i expect you to do the same" i let out a loud laugh and threw a pillow at him "how about no" i said still laughing at him and he pouted

"hold on i have something" he said before leaving the bedroom. what is he going for? maybe it's the bag he said he left here

he proved my guess right as i saw him walk in with a gym bag then he pulled out a tube and placed the bag on the floor.

"i'd have to rub this on your back but you need to take a shower first" he said and i looked down to see what was in the tube, aiden followed my eyes and answered before i could ask what it was. "its an ointment for cramps, i play basketball so i always have it on me" he explained, "oh" i said before trying to get up but i felt the pain again and sat back down

"oh you still can't move, so how are you gonna get your clothes off?" he was right. if i couldn't  move to get up how was i even gonna get to the bathroom much less get my clothes off

"i'll help you" his voice brought me out of my thoughts, "how?" i gave him a confused look and it wasn't that i was actually confused but more shy or embarrassed maybe?

"don't worry i'll look away" he said with a soft voice and i nodded

i tugged at the hem of my shirt indicating that i needed his help, he caught on and placed the ointment on the vanity before coming over to where i was sitting on the bed. he began to lift the shirt up and i felt my body get a random heat when i felt his finger graze against my stomach a little

he pulled my shirt over my head and i looked up in the vanity mirror to see that he was staring at me. "you said you would look away" i said softly, "sorry" he responded even softer than when i spoke

a small smile came across my face, "i can take off the rest" i said to him and he got up off of the bed "okay i'll leave you to it, when you get out the shower imma be in the living room" he said and i managed to get up and walk to the bathroom.
