the sound of my alarm blared through the room and i groaned as i reached over to turn it off before i rolled over and out of bed to go take a shower.

once i was out of the bathroom i looked through my bags to see if i could find anything and i settled on a grey T-shirt with blue jeans, i pulled my hair up in a ponytail and walked out of the room.

as i made my way down the hall i pulled out my phone and checked the schedule to see what we had planned for the day. "another lecture" i whispered to myself as i placed my phone back into my pocket.

i walked out into the living room to see that aiden was still sleeping, "should i wake him?" i thought to myself. after considering the fact that it would be selfish of me not to i walked over to the couch and nudged his shoulder but he didn't move

i pushed him a little harder this time but he just rolled up even more and i was becoming very irritated. i slapped him in the chest and he just pushed my hand away and turned to the other side

i checked my phone to see the time, "the bus doesn't leave for another two hours so i'm good" i got up thinking of how i could wake aiden before we run out of time, i went into the kitchen and suddenly an idea sparked

i grabbed a cup that ally had gotten from a gas station we stopped at a couple days ago when she ordered a large slushy. i turned the tap on and put the cup under it, once it was full i set it on the counter and went into the freezer for ice cubes

i placed the cubes in the cup and mixed it around to make sure that it was cold enough. i carefully walked over to where aiden was sleeping, i leaned over a bit and tilted the whole cup on his head and i watched as he flew up out of the couch

"yoo wtf!?" he shouted and looked dead at me. "woops" i placed a childish smile on my face before walking off "get ready before we- oh wait, before you miss the bus" i could feel his eyes following me but i didn't care.

i went over to the balcony and slid the glass door behind me before i
sat down on a small chair that was leaned up in the corner as i waited for aiden to get ready.

i burst out laughing when i relived his facial expression as soon as i poured the ice cold water on him, oh how i enjoyed doing that. i rocked in the chair a bit before my mind drifted off.

i sat there for about 30 minutes taking in the scenery before i heard the doors slide making me look up to focus on aiden standing at the door, i figured he was ready so i didn't say anything to him

i got up and brushed past him trying to get back into the room but he grabbed my arm before i could get any distance between us.

"what was that about?" he was staring directly into my eyes and i felt myself melting. "nothing, you were going to be late and nothing else that i tried wasn't working" i explained as he loosened his grip around my hand

"you could've just called my name" he doesn't even seem mad which makes me feel a little bit relieved. "i am sure that wouldn't have worked either" i step away from him and walk off.

i met up with ally in the lobby and her hands are interlocked with jay's, i smile at their softness towards each other and ally notices my unusual behavior. "someone's in a good mood" she says swinging her hands

"guess you could say that" i shrugged my shoulders and looked around at all the students gathered in the lobby and i couldn't help but notice that almost everyone had somebody that they were leaning on or holding hands with, including ally and i was just there...like an oversized tree stump.

i look over to see a girl leaning on aiden's shoulder talking to him but he looks so uninterested in whatever is being said. "poor girl", i thought to myself.

i watched the bus pull around the corner and park at my feet. i didn't bother to wait on ally because i figured that she would be sitting beside jay this time so i just climbed in the bus and went to our usual seats

since i would have more space i turned my back to the widows and put my feet up before pulling my phone out. the smell of heavy cologne filled the air and i looked up to see where it was coming from

my eyes darted to aiden walking down the aisle with the same girl latched onto him like a parasite. i didn't pay it any more attention due to the fact that it was beginning to irritate my spirit.

suddenly the cologne got stronger and i looked up to see aiden standing in front of me with the same girl behind him "this seat taken?" he asks quietly "um no but i don't want anybody here" i reply shyly

the girl stares at me as if she wanted to do something to me then she looked up at aiden "i thought we were going to sit together" her voice sounds high pitched and annoying.

"you can sit somewhere else i'm staying here" he tells her and i move my legs so that he would have space. she storms off like a little kid who didn't get their way and i hear aiden laugh beside me and i join.

he leans over and whispers in my ear "i've missed you" i feel my cheeks redden and i playfully push him away "i know you couldn't resist me" we both laugh as the bus pulls off.
