the sunlight beamed through my window and i groaned covering my face with the sheets. trying to go back to sleep was a waste so i just got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower

i checked my phone to see if any new notifications had surfaced but nothing was there except for a text from cameron saying he was sorry which i ignored

my heart sunk a little knowing that aiden didn't text me back last night but i decided not to sulk over it.

after i was finished in the bathroom i wrapped my hair up on the way back to my bedroom. i didn't plan on doing anything much today but i might need to just get out of the house a bit

ally would need to catch up with her parents so i would just go by myself. it's not like i haven't been much places alone so i would be fine.

i know that if i tell my parents i would be going out they'd want julius to chauffeur me and i didn't want that so i would figure out a way to convince them not to allow julius to go out of his way because i would be fine taking the bus, or i could just do what i do best and slip out

my parents said that they would get me a car soon and i didn't fight against them with that idea because i really needed one and it would probably be the only useful thing they'd spend their money on.

i closed my room door behind me and started to search for something to wear. after i was finished i just decided to go without any makeup and i didn't do anything much with my hair, i just let it flow.

grabbing my phone off the charger i made my way downstairs, due to her job my mom was hardly home and i was thankful for that in this situation

i scanned the halls before i rushed down the stairs stopping at the bottom step i started moving a whole lot more quietly than before

i looked around the living room and nobody was there, just as i was about to open the door to rush outside i heard a voice behind me

"you're going out?" i heard my dad say behind me and i slowly pulled my hand off of the door knob turning to face him

"fuck" i cursed under my breath not loud enough for him to hear

"um yea just getting some stuff" i said with an awkward smile

"why not get julius to drive you?" i was hoping he wouldn't suggest that

"no, i'm fine taking the bus" i turned around quickly opening the door as i rushed out before he could say anything else to me. if i had stood there and let him talk we would end up arguing and it would mess up my mood leading me to no longer want to go anywhere

i wasn't about to let my father ruin my day.

i laughed at the expression that he probably had on his face as i ran down the street to the bus stop. the air was cool and the breeze flowed perfectly through my hair, for a moment i was at peace but it was only short lived.

continuing, i ran up to the bus stop and stood beside an elderly man. i could get why people hated taking public transportation and it wasn't the best thing for me either but anything to keep my parents away from me would have to do plus i didn't mind it

every time i took the bus i would just sit in my little corner until i got where i needed to go.

the bus pulled up and i helped the little old guy get on before i climbed up behind him. he thanked me by lifting his hand as far as it could go to give me a little wave and i returned the gesture

i went to the back of the bus taking a seat at the window after which i pulled out my earphones and started to listen to anything that came up as soon as i pressed shuffle.
