Chapter 11

Skylar's POV

"Hey Skylar, I heard you have a date tonight. I didn't think Seth was your type." Vee says smirking as she walks up to Karen, Gabby and I at Gabby's locker

Choke on air bitch! What? She rubs me the wrong way

"It's not a date Vicky." I say not sparring her another glance

"That's not what he's been saying." She says lifting her brow

"Well either way, I don't see how it's any of your business." I roll my eyes

"Come on Skylar be nice. Tori is just trying to make small talk, right Tori?" Karen defends

"Right. I don't understand why you don't like me." Vee says clearly faking a pout

"I have a class to attend." I say irritated

"The bell didn't ring yet though." Gabby tells me

"I want to be early." I flatly say and walk away

I walk into the library and take a seat way back in a corner. I take my pride and prejudice book out and continue reading from where I've left off. It's a great book but it confuses me too sometimes.

The bell rings a few minutes later and I get up to go to my class. I pick my bag up, shove the book in it and walk out of the library. I get to class and nearly the whole class is packed. I hate it when I get here a second too late.

"Hey nerd, are you going to walk in or not? I don't have all day." I turn to see Heather at the back of me

I roll my eyes and enter the nearly packed classroom. Karen is there already and so is Ray, Kendrick and her majesty Vee by his side.

Mental gag

I take my usual seat and the teacher walks in. I take out the assignment that is due today and he collects it. I don't know why he can't just wait for the class to end

"Alright, the ones that didn't hand in their assignments I'm sorry to say but that'll be zero points for you as i gave you all enough time to complete the assignment." Mr Anderson says

Some of the pupils sigh and others snicker and I just roll my eyes because I'm already annoyed now. I just want to go home or go to the training ground. I really want to go to the training ground.

Class ends with me paying zero attention to the lesson. I'll just ask Karen for her notes. I'm the first one out of the classroom, I just want to get to the next class quickly and get it over with.

"Why are you in such a rush?" Ray asks as he catches up to me

"I just want to get this day over with and go home." I say irritated

"Eager for that date I see." Ray smirks

Oh right, that. I forgot about it for a moment.

"It's not a date. We are just going as friends, why can't anyone just accept that?"

"Because nobody wants to." Ray laughs

I roll my eyes and enter my next class which thankfully none of them have with me. Art class

Art class was so relaxing. We did painting today and although Gloria took this week's title of best painting, I still had fun.

"I don't think that's how it's done Gab." I chuckle at Gabby's frown

We are walking into the lunchroom and she's telling me about how her little brother got stuck in the bathroom once and she was attempting to slide him food from under the door
