Donghyuck got a stupid yet cute habit. He started to touch Mark's ears regularly. He got really affectionate towards older too. The boy found it adorable that alpha had such cute ears that he couldn't stop himself from touching them. Mark didn't mind that although he felt shivers down his spine every time younger did that.

"You're cute today," Donghyuck said and touched Mark's ear making the other blush a little.

"That's not how you say things to alpha."

Mark pushed Donghyuck's hand away as he felt embarrassed with all that touching. People were looking at them and Mark found it uncomfortable. Only Donghyuck was so focused on Mark and he just ignored everyone around. They were sitting at the table in the corner of the cafeteria, not at the center, but students still looked at them from other tables. It was a second week when they were together but people still seemed to be surprised by their friendship.

"Why? Why can't alphas be cute?" Donghyuck pouted.

"We're not created for that."

"I don't care. In my opinion, you're still cute."

Mark groaned but Donghyuck only scoffed. He wanted to playfully hit Mark but stopped as he realized that omegas probably wouldn't do something like that. Even if they do, it probably will be a light tap, not a strong smack like Donghyuck was about to do.

Donghyuck leaned his head on the wall and scanned the cafeteria. It didn't take long when he saw his sister. As expected, she was running after that small omega girl named Yeri. Donghyuck and Yeri made short eye contact and she smiled slightly showing thumbs up. Without explanation, Donghyuck understood what that meant. She and other omegas probably saw him coming to school with all limbs, which meant nothing happened to him on Friday.

"What did you do this weekend?" Mark asked thinking that Donghyuck got bored if he was silent like that.

"I slept all day, then ate and slept again."

"Must be interesting."

"Don't mock me. I was tired." Donghyuck whined. "I don't even want to ask what you were doing. I already know that you were exercising."

"Nah, I spent my weekend writing..."

"Writing what? An essay? Oh my god, you're a nerd." Donghyuck scoffed.

"Songs."

Donghyuck gasped dramatically as he covered his mouth, drawing others' attention. Mark glared forcing them to look away.

"You write songs?"

"Can you lower your voice a little?"

"Why? Let people know that you are capable of writing songs."

"No, it's embarrassing."

"It's cool!" Donghyuck disagreed. "If you became popular, I would be glad that I almost had that dick."

It was just a joke but both of them felt like it wasn't. Mark awkwardly squirmed in his seat and slightly blushed. Even though Donghyuck was in a good mood to joke, he went quiet, understanding that he just crossed the line.

"Oh, shit I'm sorry," he said but facepalmed as he cursed. "No... I mean... I shouldn't have said that in the first place. I shouldn't have cursed too. That's not what omegas should say. Argh... Pretend like you didn't hear that, okay?"

Mark just nodded acting like he doesn't care when in reality he did. He cared about it much more than he thought.

It seemed like Donghyuck sensed a strange atmosphere that was forming around them, so he quickly changed the topic, still maintaining songwriting as the main theme.
