.
Donghyuck had a free period, so he spent the time in the cafeteria. He tried to study but all he could think then was food. He bought two donuts and was surprised when he realized that it wasn't enough. He wanted more.
"What's wrong with me? I just ate breakfast," he said to himself.
The omega saw a brown-haired beta running up to him. He was surprised a bit, as there were ten minutes until the break. Also, the boy had his hair dyed again.
"Hi-"
"Donghyuck, what the hell happened yesterday?" Chenle screamed and almost fell on the table. He put his hands on the sides of the table, pressing them so hard that his knuckles became white. "Was it true that Jisung helped you?"
It took a few seconds for Donghyuck to comprehend when Chenle was talking so fast. He then remembered the young boy that Hyungseok called Jisung and nodded.
"Yeah, he called the principal."
"Really?"
"Well, as much as I know, it is."
"Oh my God..."
"Why are you tensed?" Donghyuck asked with a chuckle. "Do you have a crush on him or something?"
"N-no! No way... We just... We used to be friends."
"That's cute."
"Should I talk to him?" Chenle murmured under his breath, more to himself than Donghyuck. But the latter thought it was to him. They were the only ones in the cafeteria and Chenle just talked with him.
"Sure, say how you feel. He seems like a pushover. There's no way he won't accept you."
"No, Hyuck... It's not about that."
"Then what is it?"
Chenle leaned closer to Donghyuck even though there weren't any curious eyes or ears in the cafeteria. Donghyuck didn't mind that. He followed Chenle and leaned in too.
"Remember when I said that good friends can betray too? Mark seems pretty loyal to you, but..." Chenle went quiet as if he was thinking about saying it or not. In the end, he gave up. "Jisung was my friend too. We were so close back then. Everything was fine until alphas from the academy stepped in. They befriended Jisung a few times and that naive boy decided that they were better than me. He left me for them."
Donghyuck knitted his eyebrows as he listened for Chenle's story. He didn't know if Jisung's naiveness or the alphas' trap made him furious. Those guys sure wanted to gather as much power as they can, so a young naive boy was a huge weapon in their hands. Donghyuck even then remembered how strong Jisung's arms were.
"I should have punched him."
Chenle giggled but went serious in a second.
"I don't exactly know which part does he takes in their crimes, but I'm completely sure he does participate in them."
"He's just a puppet," Donghyuck tried to comfort.
"He was with me in the bathroom, on the second floor," Chenle spoke, looking directly at Donghyuck's widened eyes. "He was there, he saw everything yet he didn't do anything to stop them. And here I am still caring for his sake. I didn't even tell his name to the principal, so that he wouldn't get kicked out of school.
