WARNING! (͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖) idk how to tell it since i don't want to spoil anything. in short, 18+ scene is coming up.

Later that day, mom invaded Donghyuck's personal space. His bed, in which he was trying to sleep, was a mess. The collection of the bear plushies was neatly lined next to the wall but the whole bed was full of clothes and blankets. Donghyuck never was a tidy one but his bed now was on another level of chaos.

She loudly barged in making him jump and hit his head on the wall.

"What? Is the kitchen on fire?" he shouted seeing his mom in his so-called oasis. She rarely went there, so when she did it meant that something was up.

"No, you idiot," she chuckled and waved an envelope in front of his face. "You have got a letter."

"A letter?" Donghyuck squinted his eyes. There was completely dark in the room as Donghyuck liked to rest in darkness while his sister couldn't stand it. If Donghyuck wants to sleep, he usually turns all lights off like a boss and doesn't let her turn them on. That day it happened as well, so Donghyun was forced to leave and do her homework in the kitchen. "Who the frickin' duck writes letters these days?"

"People who don't like new technology," she handed it to Donghyuck.

He took it a little bit surprised. Who could possibly be writing him letters?

"Who is it?" he asked more himself than his mother but she still answered.

"I don't know. Some kind of guy. I already read the letter but couldn't understand anything. I was more interested in money which was in there." she said shrugging her shoulders. "I hope the method of how you earned them was legal."

Money? Donghyuck couldn't stand any longer. He quickly took out the letter and turned on the lights, missing the part where mom said that she read everything without waiting for Donghyuck.

There wasn't much written in that letter. There were actually short sentences with narrow information. The owner of the letter was Chenle. He thanked him again saying that he couldn't be more grateful for someone like Donghyuck. Chinese wrote that Donghyuck was really brave to help him in that state. He was fascinated by how Donghyuck didn't get scared to be involved in something like this. In the end, Chenle wrote that he will generously pay Donghyuck for his help.

There were big numbers written at the end of the paper, which made Donghyuck's eyes grow wide. He almost passed out as he never had that much money on his own before. He shook the envelope and started counting the cash Chenle gave him. He sucked at math but was quick to notice that numbers don't match. Something was missing. He looked at the envelope again thinking that maybe he overlooked some details.

Then it hit him. Someone took it! He glared at his mom but it seemed like she already was prepared for something like this because she was smiling with a teasing smile.

"I admit it. I took it."

"Mom!" Donghyuck shouted. "You have no rights-"

"I have rights, darling, you don't. You're still living under my roof. That means everything goes into my care," she patted Donghyuck's head as if he was a little puppy. He did look like one, though, pouting like that. "Don't be sad. I still left half for you. You don't need that much. It would be better to save them for university."

"A half?" Donghyuck chuckled in disbelief. "That's less than half. Give back my money!"

"No. You don't need them now."
