You can clearly see that Mark was expecting only Donghyuck to come out of the apartment. He furrowed his eyebrows when he saw omega and two kids coming toward him. Word 'scared' would be too much to explain his expression. He was more surprised but still had something on his face that you can consider frightened or even sad.

Two kids looked cheerful while Donghyuck was covering his ears. He already had enough when both of them started to shout after he said about taking them out to eat. They were so excited that they started to run all around the house, screaming like crazy. Donghyuck was startled by how his brothers were acting as if they rarely eat outside the house. Well, it was rare in their family as mom was a great cook and always prepared food. There wasn't any need to visit restaurants. But as Donghyuck saw his brother's reaction, he remembered that the last time they were somewhere was probably a year ago.

Donghyuck saw Mark and quickly shushed his brothers so that they could talk without shouting on top of each other. Kids exchanged looks but their attention soon turned to a stranger. One of the kids, the youngest, hid behind Donghyuck and peeked a little to see a foreign body, while the other was watching Mark with a curious look. The latter, in Donghyuck's opinion, could be an alpha in the future.

"I'm sorry, but can they go with us as well?" Donghyuck asked with an apologetic look. "They are too young to stay at home alone and it's my job to take care of them since mom is busy right now..."

"I don't mind!" Mark answered a little too fast. He ran a hand through his hair to express and hide his disappointment at the same time. Needless to say, Donghyuck didn't notice Mark's frustration as he was keeping his eyes on his brothers more than he was looking at his friend.

Mark actually did mind. If we leave Donghyuck's perspective for a moment and come to Mark's, we would find out how everything actually happened. To start with, Mark had a hard time to even calling Donghyuck. He was walking into his room, looking at the phone in his hands and thinking about doing it or not. In the end, he called by accident and got scared when he heard Donghyuck's angry response. Yet he felt happy when Donghyuck agreed. But then Donghyuck had to drag kids in there completely ruining what Mark had planned. To tell you the truth, it was supposed to be like some sort of date but just for two friends. Mark didn't count kids in it. He was scared of kids like other people are scared of cats or dogs. He couldn't understand those small creatures and their minds. It all started when a few kids vomited on him or started to cry when he got closer. From that day Mark thought he was some kind of misfortune to kids.

One of the kids already got spooked while another, a dominant one, made eye contact with Mark, which surprised him. Either way, Mark wanted them to be quiet so that he could spend time with Donghyuck without even feeling them around because now he felt kind of sad as the omega seemed to be a little distant.

"Kids, this is my hyung Mark," Donghyuck introduced his brothers to his friend. He saw how corners of Mark's lips raised by the word "hyung".

That made Donghyuck realize some things too. He didn't call Mark "hyung" as he should. They started to talk informally from the very beginning as Donghyuck was really rude back then to talk politely with an upperclassman. As they became so-called friends Donghyuck already got used to it and forgot about the possibility of Mark being hyung here. Maybe he should use honorifics from now on?

"And that's my brothers, Dongmin and Dongwoo."

"Oh, okay," Mark bowed to the kids as if they were older than him, which made Donghyuck laugh and smack him. He always ended up awkward when the kids were around. "You have a lot of Dongs in your family."

"As if I wanted that," Donghyuck rolled his eyes. "Lead the way, alpha male!"

Mark smiled and went first as a leader of the small group. Donghyuck was next to him, while kids walked a little behind. One too shy, another - too curious that he couldn't even look away from Mark. Donghyuck noticed the latter and patted Mark's shoulders catching him off guard.
