One month later....

SIMON POV:

A month has passed since the crazy Heidi reentered my life and things were not easy. The truth is that she tried some attacks on Jace but always without success. My relationship with Clary was finally returning to what we were in ancient times and I am happy with our friendship.

Sometimes I wonder if the only way to protect the people I love, would be to simply run away with her at once, but I don't have the courage to do it and leave everything and everyone behind.

Me and Jace? Well we are getting closer to each other every day, which I didn't know was possible. I don't know why, but it awakens a little strange feeling inside me that I try to ignore as much as possible ...

- We have to think of a way to capture the creature once and for all. This is getting out of control.

- But how? She always seems to be two steps ahead of us, "said Clary, and rightly so.

- We will have to think about it later, we have a warning of a demonic attack in downtown Brooklyn.- said Izzy reading the warning.

We were all four except for Alec because as he was the superior and had a meeting in ten minutes, he couldn't risk going on a mission and being late.

While Izzy and Jace were going to the place where the demon was supposedly seen, Clary and I stayed on the street next to the lookout, as this place was very frequented by mundanes. I was talking to Clary when I am suddenly stabbed in the back and fall to the side due to the impact. Even though I'm a vampire, I have a certain amount of time I need for my body to regenerate and if it's serious I still need some human blood to be able to recover.

According to the clock it was half past midnight and i was still a little sore from the stab but i was already recovered. I look around but I don't recognize this place, but where am I?!

- You finally woke up my love.

- Heidi? What are you doing here? Where are we?

- Take it easy, you need to rest, Sy.

- What did you do to me? My friends? Clary?

- Calm down, everything is fine. I needed a way to bring you to my side and today it finally happened. Your friends are fine and Clarissa must be recovered. It was just a little hit, nothing too serious!

- You're crazy .... Heidi let me go, they must be worried about me.

- You are not going anywhere Sy. Your new life will start today!

- But what new life, what? Heidi, my life is with my friends, my family ...

- That was your life, now you can be who you really are by my side without fear that people don't approve or don't like you. You're finally free Simon Lewis.

- Heidi you can't keep me here forever, you know that right?

- Of course I can, it will be a little complicated but I can. Both doors and windows are covered with a remnant of the angel blade that was broken many years ago. It was very complicated to arrange but luckily I went to the right people. So I think you have no choice but to stay here with me.

- So what about you? How are you going to get out of here if you can't touch them like me?

- Oh Sy, Sy you don't need to worry about me, I have my ways.

I really have to find a way to get out of here or tell Jace to come and get me. I told Heidi that I was going to take a break for "my room" and she understood because I was still recovering from the stab she gave me today.

I couldn't help thinking about my friends and how they must be feeling right now. And Jace? Did he find out who did this to me? I'm sure he is smart and knows better than anyone that the only person who could do this in such a crazy way was Heidi.

The truth and that I would not want to admit anything, is that I cannot leave this place without the help of my friends. In the morning I woke up with a headache that I never had in my life. I went to the kitchen but luckily, she was gone, so I could walk around the house at will.

There had to be an exit from this place but all access to the outside world was forbidden to vampires. The only certainty is that we are still in Brooklyn, less badly ... She could have taken me anywhere in the world, but we are still at home.

As I was still recovering, despite being much better, I had to feed myself, so I went to the fridge to see what was going on and let's say she filled it with liters of blood, but luckily it was the synthetic blood I drank.
