The doctor who came with Dr Greene earlier has been observing me for quite some time, already making me look weirdly at her. She has blonde hair that cascaded over her shoulders and bony cheeks. I don't know how old she is, but her beauty didn't seem to fade. I could see a hint of wrinkles, but it was pretty hidden well with make-up. Her green eyes stared at mine, and somehow I felt a sense of familiarity in it.

"I can't believe it, Becky! Is this the little girl that I operated a few years ago?" she asked, looking at Dr Greene in disbelief. I turned my head to Dr Greene, who nodded at the question.

"Yes, Jade. She's the one" she smiled at me. I still look at her in a bit confused. Who is this doctor that's been looking at me like a discovery?

"It seems like she can't remember me" the doctor looked at her with a confused look.

"Because she can't still recall everything. I called her here to talk about it because she just recently required an important memory," Dr Greene pointed out. "I'm sorry, Sam, but this is Dr Jade Richardson. She's your orthopaedist back when you were almost beaten half to death" Dr Greene introduced me to the doctor in front of me. Dr Wilson gave me a hand to shake, which I reciprocated.

"I'm sorry if I can't remember you, Dr Wilson" she waved it off.

"That's fine. I don't blame you if you forget about it since Becky told me everything. Please, just call me Jade," she beamed with a smile. I nodded.

"Jade will guide you on your annual check-up. Jade, if you please," Dr Greene said to her.

Jade stood up from her seat and called me to follow her. She told me about how she and Dr Greene met in medical school. They were classmates before with mom back in their student days. Mom was interested in the biomechanical field, which leads her to the discovery of nano bone tech research. Jade and her work alongside since Jade specializes in bone structures. The research was not fully done when the accident happened, but mom was quite desperate to make me live. The chances were small that I get to have full control of my body; the other was I would be bed-ridden my whole life. Mom didn't care about it, and Jade took me to the operating table and did the procedure.

Half a year passed, I was out of a coma. I managed to defeat the odds, but the side effect was that I had temporary amnesia. She told me that I didn't recall what happened back then, and I was crying a lot in pain. Mom made sure to take care of me, especially during my therapy where I almost give up. After half a year of therapy, I functioned well once again, and I remembered that I was being homeschooled to catch up with the education that I missed.

We got inside her office as she has me leave my things in a box. Then she handed me a hospital gown to change since I'll be having an x-ray. I followed her lead as she leads me towards the x-ray laboratory to have a full body check.

"So you knew me back then?" I asked as the operator took the scans and handed them to the doctor once he was finished. She nodded.

"I never thought that after all these years, you would come back here. Now, you're already this big," she said, patting my back in a friendly manner. "I bet the one down there has grown too," she winked, making me blush in a surprised manner.

She laughed at my reaction, and both of us went back to her office to have it analyzed. I didn't expect her to comment on my junk like that. She handed me back my clothes and changed inside the bathroom. When I was done, my x-ray was posted on a screen, and Jade looked at it while taking some notes.

"So, how was it?" I asked as I stood beside her.

"So far, those little machines have been working well. No problem so far," she said as she turned to face me. "However, there's a slight bump in your head, though. Did you hit on something?" she asked with her brow raised. I nodded nervously.
