Not long ago, Rex Salazar had his powers exposed to the whole world of Remnant and he was already freaking out as he wanted to avoid being seen using his powers. But it was already too late and he was already met with mixed results by the school. Some good, some bad, some neutral.
And then he was met with Cardin Winchester and made to duel him and his team, to which Rex won.
And after the fight was over, Rex and the rest of his teammates went with Team CFVY to get Rex some new clothes as Coco had made fun of his style and decided to get him some new clothes.
And after that fun moment of shopping, Team RRWBY had made it all the way back to the dorms.
When they got to their room, Rex soon set his newly bought clothes on the ground as he sat on his bed, but the door was then slammed shut by Weiss, which made everyone look at her in shock at the action she did.
"Sheesh, wake the neighbors why don't ya?" said Rex in a slight exasperated tone.
But he was interrupted by Weiss saying, "Alright you, I waited long enough! Start talking" as she pointed at him, causing him to raise and eyebrow in question.

"What are you going on about?" asked Rex in question as he wasn't sure what she was talking about.
"I'm saying I want answers and I can't take being kept in the dark this long. I've held my tongue long enough and I can't take it anymore. Your secrets already out so I don't have to bother keeping my tongue held anymore. How are you able to do all of those creations of yours? Why do they keep coming out of your arms and legs? I know that Ozpin had told me swear that I would keep my mouth shut but that's already thrown out the window now that its been shown to the whole world that you can grow metal out of your body. So tell me now!" demanded Weiss as she pointed her index finger at him.
Yang stepped forward in front of Rex as she held up her hands in defensive manner as she said "Woah, woah, Weiss. Where's all this coming from?"
"From these past few months of me keeping my mouth shut, what else. Granted yes, I understood you didn't want to make yourself seen by other criminals, but you already goofed up by using them to take down the White Fang and now everyone knows about you. So there's no point anymore of you keeping them a secret so you best explain yourself to us" said Weiss as she kept pointing at him.
Rex looked at his teammates and knew that he was backed into a corner and he couldn't escape as his team was staring at him. Rex knew there was no way out of this so he knew what he had to do. It was true that his secret was out and there was no point in them keeping it secret anymore. Everyone already knew about his powers so there really was no point anymore.
Yang then back towards Rex as she said "Hey, look. We made a promise to not......"
"No, Yang. It's fine" interrupted Rex, making Yang turn to him.
