Sorry if I'm gone a lot these days it's because one of my tortoises is EXTREMELY sick so you can say I'm having a bad week.

But thankfully she is slowly recovering :)

(Zoe's POV)

I yelped as I hit the floor, shivering as I felt the coldness of the floor.

I teared up as I looked up to the bunch of people who were pushing me around.

*SMACK*

~Earlier~

"Hey! Zoe you free this afternoon?" Mira asked, looking up from her book.

"Hm? Yea, I am why are you asking?"

"We haven't hung out in so long! We should go to the shopping!" She said, excitedly.

"Sure, why not?"

"I'll run to the bathroom real quick." Mira told me.

"Alrighty, I'll wait here for you." I said, standing off to the side.

I put on my earphones and play on my favorite song.

I closed my eyes, getting immersed in the song.

Suddenly, I felt a shadow looming over me so I opened my eyes.

"Huh?"

I yelped as I hit the floor, shivering as I felt the coldness of the floor.

I teared up as I looked up to the bunch of people who were pushing me around.

"You better stay away from Daniel." A girl in the back with a smug face said.

"Aw cat got your tongue?" A guy said.

And that guy started to raise his hand and out of fear I shut my eyes tightly.

*SMACK*

But I heard a thud and a yelp.

I was surprised to see Zack, Daniel and Mira.

Mira rushed to my side checking if I was hurt.

"I'm alright, Mira." I reassured her.

"Some people need to learn manners again." Zack said taking his stance.

"They're not worth our time, Zack..." Daniel said, trying to ease the tension.

"Ha, you guys just going to chicken out?" A guy said, trying to provoke Zack and Daniel into fighting.

Daniel clenched his fists angrily, but he didn't say anything yet.

"Zack...." Mira said, quietly.

Zack glanced at us- and when he did, he got punched in the face by one of the guys.

Zack fumed in anger and shot a couple of punches successfully.

Mira and I froze in shock. Daniel on the other hand grabbed us both and dragged us to a safe distance.

"You stay here ok?" Daniel said, patting my shoulder.

Before he could turned around I hugged him.

"Please be safe..." I said, softly.

Though this isn't his first fight I still get very worried.

He smiled at me cheekily.

"Aw, don't be worried." He patted my head and made his way to the fight scene.

"Oh god what the hell is happening here?" Me and Mira turned around, surprised to see Vasco, Jace and Cherry.

Cherry looked very concerned.

"Jace we should help them." Vasco began.

And like that they too were fighting.

"Can anyone explain to me what's going on???" Cherry said poking my shoulder.

I sigh, explaining to her what happened.

"Oooo damn Zoe it seems that Daniel is smitten for you." She teased.

"You guys look so cute together!" Mira chimed in.

I blushed shaking my head at them.

"So we just gon wait for them?" Cherry asked, folding her hands in front of her chest.

"I guess so..." I said, shrugging at her.

We all sighed out of misery.

"I can't believe you two! You can't just jump into a fight that doesn't have anything to do with you!" Cherry scolded Vasco and Jace.

They just pouted and shrugged at her.

"Daniel are you ok?" I said making my way to him.

"Yea I'm fine, are you alright?" He said, looking at me with worried eyes.

"Yea! All thanks to you!" I blushed.

He sighed with relief and engulfed me in a big bear hug.

"Hug!" Vasco beamed with happiness as he hugged as both, lifting as from the ground.

He grabbed the others too and now we're all in a big hug ball.

"I CAN'T BREATHE-" Cherry was squished between Mira and Jace.

"Get me off." Zack grumpily said.

"Vasco...please let us down..." Jace said, quietly.

Daniel and I laughed.

I'm glad to be friends with them.
