"Baby boy, you look beautiful."

»»----- ✼ -----««

Both of the boys were flustered as they walked around Seoul, pinkies intertwined. Felix carried the emergency supply bag on his back while Jeongin had his phone in hand to make sure they were headed in the right direction.

Jeongin had made a reservation at a somewhat popular restaurant earlier in the day. They wouldn't be completely isolated like he had wanted because of the short notice, but they would be more alone in the restaurant than they were at the cafe.

Felix was a little overwhelmed by the fact that they were going to a nice place for food considering this was their first day. He fully understood that the younger wanted their first date to be special, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something bad could happen. Being in an unfamiliar place surrounded by people they didn't know was stressful for Felix. However, it wasn't until they arrived at the door of the restaurant that Felix froze up.

Felix felt all of the colour drain from his skin and his mouth felt unusually dry. It was getting harder and harder for him to breath and it wasn't until Jeongin looked down at him did he understand why the older wasn't entering the building. He knew that look anywhere.

"We don't have to go in if you don't want to."

Felix jumped slightly; he didn't expect Jeongin to be so observant. Felix didn't want to ruin Jeongin's plans. He didn't want Jeongin's efforts to find them a nice place for dinner to go to waste. So, he lied through his teeth.

"Jeonginnie, it's fine."

"I told you, it was fine!" Felix whined as Jeongin pulled him away from the restaurant, a pout forming on his perfectly heart shaped lips.

"And I told you that we didn't have to go in."

"But I want to go on a date with you!"

"Who said dates have to be formal?" Jeongin did have a point. Neither of the two boys dressed like they were going to that high-end restaurant anyway. "Let's just wander, see where our feet take us."

And that's how Felix and Jeongin began wandering around the streets of the city, giggling and playfully hitting each other. They looked so hopelessly in love that the people around them couldn't help but get jealous.

Jeongin and Felix took plenty of pictures that day. Stay would be well fed later that evening, but for now they focused on each other.

"Let's go into the toy shop, Innie!" Chirped Felix, tugging at the taller's are before he even had a chance to respond.

Felix thought it was a great idea. He loved looking at all the toys. The sma, freckled boy was mesmerized by his surroundings. Many children littered the shop, a few single fathers and mothers. Even some couples occupied the area. It was a magical place with a toy train making loops around the tops of bookshelves. There were rows upon rows of stuffed animals and baby dolls to choose from.

Felix couldn't help but get distracted by a small fox plush. He managed to slip out of Jeongin's loose hold and make his way over the the stuffed animal.

It looked so much like Jeongin. It was kind of cute. Well, kind of is a bit of an understatement. Felix loved the plush. He thought it was the most amazing thing. He pulled it from it's little row of stuffed animals, away from the wolf, the bunny, the chick, the pig/rabbit looking thing. He wanted this one.

He held the stuffed toy away from him to admire it before turning to look at Jeongin. He couldn't find Jeongin.

Tears flooded Felix's eyes as he began looking from side to side. No matter where he looked there was no Jeongin. Did his caregiver leave him? He couldn't believe that he would do such a thing. He was in distress.

Just when he was about to start wailing, a hand came in contact with his shoulder.

Jeongin should have known this was a bad idea. He had managed to lose track of Felix at some point. He could have sworn that the older was right next to him, but it seems that is not so.

Jeongin didn't want to make a scene and start calling for the boy, but it was large shop and it was very likely that he wouldn't find Felix if he didn't.

Jeongin raised one hand to his mouth, prepared to shout, but a small hand gripped around his other wrist. Jeongin was elated by the feeling.

"Thank goodness Fe—" that wasn't Felix.  A child, maybe six or seven years of age was holding onto his wrist.

"D-dad?" He cried, clearly confused when Jeongin wasn't his father. His tears started flowing harder and Jeongin panicked. How was he supposed to keep track of this child and find Felix?

Felix would have to wait for a moment. He just had to hope that the older would be okay.

Jeongin walked around the general perimeter of where the kid was. He should find the parents somewhere in that area. He began stopping every couple to ask if they recognized the child.

It took ten minutes, but Jeongin did eventually find the kids parents.
"Have you see a boy with white hair, freckles, about 5'7?" He asked hopefully, a small smile gracing his features as the couple thought on the matter.

Just as the young woman was about to answer, a sharp giggle cut through the store and straight through Jeongin's heart.
