For long years, the darkness had been my shelter; its corners sucked and sucked me into the void. I had been yearning to glimpse the light once more... I hid alone in the dark, keeping my eyes closed regardless of what hue the day was.

I was frightened of the sun's luminescence spreading over the skies because that means a new day will knock on my door. I was afraid that I'd become prey to darkness once again.

I let out a deep and heavy sigh; I didn't realize that my chest held and gazed outside the window to disrupt the thoughts of memories. I was typing on my laptop while sitting on my office's swivel chair. To keep away the thoughts from bugging my mind, I began tapping my fingertips on my keyboard once more.

I am one of the famous photographers here in the Philippines.

He entered with a smile plastered on his face. Iniayos niya ang kaniyang neck tie at iwinagayway ang hawak niyang folder.

Anthony proudly said, my assistant. He wore his usual white long sleeves polo tucked on his black pants. "Substitute raw po muna siya ngayong araw," he added.

My brows immediately raised as I looked at him.

Bali hindi iyon ang final na magde-design? Substitute raw, e.

"Are you sure?

His face lit up.

"All right." I nodded at him, and my eyes darted at the folder he was holding. "Can I have the information about him... or her?"

I hope the architect won't reject my offer.
