I can see the sparkles in their eyes. Black Marigolds is very rare and highly banned by the world government for ordinary citizens to have. Like I said, their seeds are sold up to ten million beri on the dark market. A living one like mine is almost non-existing and worth probably more than Luffy's head.

"Don't you dare touch my plant."
I warned them with a glare.

"Careful. She'll feed you to her pet sea king outside."
Vista chuckled.

The rookies all shuddered as they imagine being fed to Viper. While the Division Commanders came closer to inspect the plant more and ease their curiosity.

"Does it really produce a devil fruit?"
Blenheim asked.

"I have no idea, it haven't even bloomed flowers yet."
I shrugged.

"Let's see..."
Izo pulled out a map of devil fruits.

"There's so many fruits that haven't resurface. It's useless to see through the map."
Blenheim sighed.

"What would you like to get?"
Izo asked me.

Now everyone's looking at me crazy curious.

"Anything but an ordinary zoan would be nice."
I shrugged.

"You can always sell it if you don't want it."
Vista said to me.

"Yeah. I don't really want to be a devil fruit eater. I would like to swim, still."
I chuckled.

We slowly returned to our seats and continued to eat breakfast.

"Oh, right. Where's Eric?"
I asked.

"He said something about treating an injured Sphinx earlier."
Izo shrugged.

I hummed as an answer.

Done with breakfast, I walked to Pops' room along with Marco who need to check up on him this morning as he usually did.

"I told you to stop pulling out the IVs!"
Marco scowled as soon as we entered the room.

"They're suffocating."
Pops complained.

"Bear with it for a while, Old man. You need to get better soon."
I sighed as I approached him.

"Gu ra ra ra! Another worry-wart joined him!"
He laughed.

"I'm serious, Pops. You do know that you have bunch of enemies out there, right?"
I said as I sat next to him as Marco is putting back the needles to his body.

"Are you the same Medeia who made this scar on my shoulder? Since when do you ever worry about me?"
He sighed with a smile.

Years ago my fleet got in contact with Moby Dick and Sengoku who received the information gave me the order to attack and capture whoever I could. So I even ended up fighting with Pops and injured him. I caught nobody since my fleet was too inexperienced and received a huge loss, so we decided to pull back.

"It was an order from Sengoku, I keep on telling you this."
I sighed in annoyance.

"Stop bullying her, Pops. She has a point after all."
Marco defended me.

"Thank you. Finally. Someone with common sense."
I said as I nodded in agreement.

"But it is uncommon for you to say anything about Pops' enemies."
He pointed out.

I hate how sharp he is sometimes.

"It is a concern I developed as I read yesterday's paper."
I said as I handed him the torn out page I kept.
