Hyunjin had spent most of his time in his new friend's house in the past few days. Luckily, his mother seemed to understand and became more accepting as time went by and Hyunjin felt beyond grateful for that.
Never having a close friend before, Hyunjin found himself learning various things from Seungmin; starting from random facts stated by the younger to embarrassing secrets both of them have done in their lives or from jokingly playing piano to mastering one or two songs in only one day.
On the other side, Seungmin felt happy for having the older by his side. He was quite sulking with moving out and leaving everything behind him, but Hyunjin's company has distracted and saved him from moping around.
Although Seungmin would be the one who talked the most in the first two days, Hyunjin gradually opened up and talked more too in the end. What made it more surprising and unexpected was discovering the older's dramatic reaction over small random things which successfully made the younger laughed and brightened up his day.
On the other day, Hyunjin even invited Seungmin to his house. Unlike the younger who liked to collect books, Hyunjin's cupboard was clogged up with movie collections. That day, they spent their time to binge watching to the point the younger had an unplanned sleepover.
On the contrary, when Hyunjin spent his time in Seungmin's, he would usually go home right away when the clocked showed 6 PM. Seungmin once asked the older to have a sleepover in his house, but the older seemed hesitant; he needed his mother's permission after all.
In all honesty, Hyunjin could simply ask his mother, but some part of him told him no, feeling afraid his mother would feel upset; not to mention he barely spent time with her too recently.
Seungmin actually felt a tad bit suspicious as to why Hyunjin always looked restless when it came to his mother. But, he decided to not ask anything until the older told him about it himself.
Then, after spending time together a lot, Seungmin finally introduced Hyunjin to his old friend, Jeongin. Surprisingly, Hyunjin and the latter warmed up almost immediately. The older said he never met a boy as cute as Jeongin and hoped they could meet up one day.
As for Chan, Hyunjin has seen several sides of the college boy too by now. Chan was your typical heartthrob; effortlessly charismatic and stunning. However, he could also be a whole softie with prettiest laugh, an amiable gentleman every girl or even boy would ask for, and a flirt who enjoyed teasing Hyunjin and turning him into a blushing mess.
It was 11 AM when Seungmin left his room to help his mother preparing lunch. In the meantime, Hyunjin was reading one of the younger's novels and sometimes chewing the forgotten Pocky rested inside his mouth.
Hyunjin was too engrossed with the story to the point he did not hear a faint knock on the door. His body impulsively jolted when he felt someone sat next to him. He clutched at his shirt firmly, a shocked with a bit dramatic look clearly displayed on his face, making Chan laughed.
Hyunjin then diverted his attention back on the book as soon as he realized the situation he was in. He could feel his heart beat rapidly and his eyes have been reading the same sentence in the past fourteen seconds.
Silence engulfed the room when the older's laugh died down. Chan then observed the younger's side profile intently. He could see that Hyunjin's visual was undoubtedly enticing; his eyes and the beauty mark under one of it, his defined nose, and his full and plump lips that Chan could not help but stare at it.
"Is that tasty?" Chan asked, still staring at the younger's lips. Hyunjin, on the other hand, did not say anything and nod his head shyly.
"Can I have some?"
