" Do you know this man, Cassy?" Darren questioned, wondering if he was about to step up against Xavier or not.

I didn't have time to respond when Mary hollered at us too soon.

" Wow! You actually brought Mr. Hotti- I mean, Hello Xavier how's it going?" Mary has her arm slung over Darren's shoulder, squishing the life out of him at the same time trying to sound cute in front of Xavier Dawn.

I'm not so sure whose her boyfriend anymore. Was it Xavier or Darren?

I gave them an uneasy smile, not sure whether it was the appropriate time for introduction when I could feel Xavier's glare at my face the whole time I tried not to choke on my own words. " Uh yeah... this um Cassy's boyfriend Darren meet Xavier. Xavier this is Darren. "

At the mention of the capital B and F, I figured Xavier's glare turned into a stare. He even shook hands with Darren and let Mary hug him, especially lifted a small thrift smile that didn't reach his eyes all the while not breaking his contact with me.

As the silence engulf us, Mary broke the deafening ice. She must have felt the tension from us and had to imaginarily watched at her wrist saying, " Oh Darren! it is time to go get our drink! Come on up, I'm thirsty."

Darren smiled at us, falling for Mary's lie and said, " Well, nice meeting you Xavier. See you later Cassy."

I waved at them while Mary gave me a playful motion of eating an ice cream and mouthed, "Yumm...He is so Hot!" while her other hand flapped over her tongue as if she just entered the chili contest and was about to get forfeited from the hotness of Xavier Dawn.

I was about to give her a pleading look but when she said yum, I rolled my eyes and shooed her with my hand to which she replied, raising both of her fingers with a W sign which means "whatever." She shrugged her shoulders, turned her back at us like none of us existed.

Well, that's probably me because Xavier has been collecting stares from the ladies in their slim bodies and surfers-like waistline by the shore.

As the fleeting backs of Mary and Darren stepped out from the beach, Xavier's smoldering eyes narrowed at me, his prominent jaw ticked in fury. " What was that for?"

" What do you mean?" I asked him out of confusion. Why is he here? He is supposed to be at the sand, taking a breather. I added, "Did I do something wrong? "

" Yes." He growled. "You are not supposed to wear that."

" Says who?" Says who indeed! Did he came for me just to say that? Wait, is he literally wanting me to change my outfit? I'm at the beach I don't get my garments and shorts on! What the hell is he talking about?

I looked down at my swimming attire, my forehead creased. " What's wrong with it? "

He unclenched and clenched his jaw to the point where I can decipher a fine line of veins popping over his temple. His mouthline clipped, " I want you changed. You are showing more skin."

"Are you serious?" I gaped.

" Now." He growled, such to my dismay.

I hadn't flinched at him. I just looked straight, knew for sure he was merely joking so I used backstroke, trying to get away from him as soon as possible, ignoring him completely. " I'm gonna head for a swim."

I don't want to deal with people that are not in the mood to discuss things like 'personal stuff is mine' and 'he has no power to control the way I dress' lecture. No woman wants to be told what to wear like that. That I'm sure.

Out of the blue, a hand grabbed my ankles pulling me back to his brood body. My hands right away laid on his bulging muscled chest. He rounded his hands by pressing his fingers under my calves and the other over my shoulders.

Before I knew it, his muscles flexed as I was raised in bridal style. I focused on my breathing as my lungs constricted, trying to strangle me to death.

You've got to be kidding me!

" Stop it." I tried to twist and turn but he was too strong. Tell me about it, it is like I've been cornered by a brick. His tone abs are well-defined. His v line was peeking through his wet shorts. And I can smell his aftershave mint and his manly perfume. Everything of him including his structured anatomy speaks masculinity.

" Quit moving," Xavier grunted.

I didn't oblige and so I continued wiggling my body free, hoping he'll stop carrying the life out of me.

" Quit it or I'll drop you on the cliff." He gritted through his teeth.

" You wouldn't dare." I seethed.

" Or don't even shout for help."He raised his eyebrow and for a minute I thought it was bodaciously hot. He even smiled, deadly smile as I was sure he masked it from a sneer, " Trust me princess you're gonna regret it. I am a man of my words."

" Yea?" I squeaked.

" Yea. Or I might gonna kiss you senselessly until you'll forget your own name." He grunted.

I blushed. I felt my body just turned jelly hearing those words out from his luscious lips.

I didn't feel threatened so I didn't listen at all. While he brought me back to the canopy and benches that lined up for people wanted tanning, out of the water, I squirmed on his hands, found an opening, and break free.

I run as if my life depended on it only to be pulled back to his thick, strong warm chest, my head hitting his collarbone. He took this chance to bent down and hoist me up by my bum on the air and my head over his shoulders.

" Mary! Mary! help! " I looked for Mary despite me being upside down. But she wasn't anywhere, probably too occupied smooching with Darren.

Once again he put me on my stead, then without warning, he crashed his lips on me. Kissing me passionately, taking my breath away, I was still digesting what is happening and so I stood frozen on my heels, don't know what to do next.
