Home

Everything turned blurry green and gray as we traveled passed the Havaca Beach and the Carraga Cliff.

As I recognized the building, we stopped by a colossal architectural design of a house. Its exterior is modest, chimera, and marvelously decorated by head to toe glass. It is a two-floor home with a staircase on the left side for anyone to see. The recliners and the chairs on the living was also laid out in a magnificent castle of tainted glass. It was modern classy and above all, elegant. Set in a stunning beachy glade, white cherry blossoms and weeping willow trees create softness, while a black-painted column holds a room with a view.

Then it seemed familiar, it was ' the house' I saw when I stepped foot at Hacava Beach!

" You own this?" My eyes dwelled on the chandelier as Xavier pulled the entrance doorframe open and let myself in.

" It was my fathers. This used to be a hut before. Now we made small changes."

True enough. A long time ago, There was once a cabin not far from the Carraga cliff. It was brown, comfy, and minimal. We used to wonder with Tria how anyone could live there since it was so small, even our breathes filled in the spaces on its own.

" Small changes?!" I cried out my eyes traveling from him to the gigantic ceiling where a chandelier hang. " You think this is some small changes?!"

He shrugged then said flatly, "Is it not?"

I groaned and mentally slapped my hand over my face. This guy is so weird. Can't he not identify mansion from a hut or like a cabin from a house?

" Wear this." Xavier changed the topic by placing a white boxing shorts in front of me.

I took it then wore it anyway, I'm too bored to have " around two" at debating whether It was necessary to wear them or not. I don't want another day spent shouting and thinking whose gonna win either way.

" Exactly why did you bring me here?" I raised my eyebrows. It seemed every time Xavier is around I've been doing that lately and I don't care as long as it doesn't cause a problem. I might just get a twitch. Cool twitch, huh?

" Any drink you want?" Xavier brought me to the living room and crossed his arms as he leaned on the counter by the bar. " Tea?"

I nodded and said my thanks.

I looked around the area, clean white walls, no family picture to speculate, only abstract paintings and collection of mugs, pins, and foreign places on the fridge. Across from me is an archive of books from top to bottom, packed in a white marble shelves with five rows and three huge G spiral columns. There were about fifty of them and more.

This is where I could tell that Xavier is a book-addict and his glasses aren't for a show.

"Enjoying yourself?" Xavier placed a tea which I gladly took.

" I can't expect someone collecting books to be this big," I said in awe. I took a sip of the tea, stood up and trailed my fingers on the bookshelves.

He smiled and slipped his hands on one of his pockets. " You can get one if you'd like. "

" Really?"

" Really." He assured me.

I giddy smiled at him. " Thanks."

A loud boom of sparks caused us to turn our heads to the sound. Fireworks have been displayed by the beach. Boom! My eyes crystallized watching as the streaks of red blue and green merged into one then dispersed from the sky leaving only gray smoke and white clouds hanging. Some of the sparks mirrored over our faces, eyes, and skin in the rainbow.
