" Wow." I can hear Mary oogling at the different rides, food carts, and many adrenaline-triggered attractions provided right before us.

We are in a newly opened Carnival. Not just any Carnival but a five star Carnival. I didn't even know there was one like it but unanticipatedly we just come forth standing before one.

Mary towed us toward a gigantic, Infinity extreme rollercoaster, " Let's ride that!"

Mark unknowingly afraid of heights, disagreed, " Nope. I suggest we'll try the shooting gallery."

They have been fighting for the last fifteen minutes the moment we passed by the entrance. Didn't know the first customer who could get in the newly built Carnival needs a VIP ticket or else you'll be able to buy one on the counters that have the longest line I ever see.

" How about you, where do you want to go to?" Both of them asked me and I looked over at Xavier.

" Shooting gallery." Xavier said while I mouthed, "Rollercoaster."

" Rollercoaster." Xavier said while I murmured, "shooting gallery." We looked at each other and shyly smiled, saying the other word but not muttering the same thing again.

" Oh, how about this!" Mary clasped her hands before us, pointing to the shooting gallery to them, then rollercoasters to us, " You guys head for the shooting gallery while we girls head for the rollercoasters. "

They both shook their heads and said, " No, you need to come with us."

So the last five minutes, we decided to head for the shooting gallery first then after that the rollercoaster despite Mark's complaint.

Mark's bullet hit the teddy bear causing it to fall on the shelve while Xavier hit the big on top of it.

We have been cheering them for some time now. I still got a lot of time to wander my thoughts to Xavier ever since the last time we see each other.

Last night at Gabby's house was still a bit blurry to me and I thought about asking him what happened on the night.

My cheeks turned pink just by asking about it. The thing is, I want to know what had happened. It might not hurt to ask, right?

" oooh, I want the bigger one!" Mary squealed when Mark hit bull's eye the huge pink teddy bear holding an ice cream. It was bigger than Mary despite her height. I caught Mark's smirk as he leaned forward hitting it nonstop until it fell on the floor of the cart. The salesboy gave blankly the big teddy bear to Mary as it seemed there are others bigger like it.

" Are you sure you want this? I could have gotten you a bigger one as well. " Xavier asked me, dubious, looking down at the cute circular glasses of the white bear wrapping a book over its arm.

I smiled at him and shook my head, hugging the bear tightly as he might take it away, " It kinds of looks like you. "

Pretty much it did, but he was not wearing glasses today. I would have dreamed all day watching him reading books or writing insensible things if it wasn't for going in the Carnival.

Although, I wouldn't see him if it were not for the occasional invitation since it is Sunday today.

As we headed for the rollercoaster, expectantly, Mark vomited the moment we stepped foot. That leaves us, staying beside the extreme infinity rollercoaster, waiting for Mary and Mark where Mary helped him up at the toilet.

" Augh, can't believe my first date with you will be headfirst on the toilet!" Mary groaned as they got out of the restroom.

" I told you, I wasn't feeling good," Mark grumbled as he sat beside us, circling his arms over his stomach.

" Would it be better to buy you anything you could drink? " I asked.

" Please. " Mark gave me a rueful smile.

Xavier suddenly slides his arm over my waist then pulled me closer to his chest so casually as if he done it a million of times. He groaned, " Come on, man. Don't let my girlfriend be enslaved by you just because you are her best friend."

The sound of the word girlfriend makes me swoon. If I hadn't clutched at Xavier's chest I would have fallen on my bum.

" No, it is alright, Xavier. I felt thirsty too." I exhaled, patted his chest, and started to lose his hold on him.

" You are not going alone." He reached for a hand and gripped it to his chest. He looked down at me, giving me his stern voice.

I can only look elsewhere as he guided me to the food carts, his hands remained over my waist as we approached the line of shops about drinks.

Xavier looked over for a coffee
while I ordered two milk tea and a black tea. After that, we brought it back to Mary who was standing waiting for us and Mark who sat next to her.

" Wintermelons never failed to disappoint me. " Mary slurped on a large cup of milk tea. She smiled and thank me for bringing them.

" I prefer Lavender Black Tea." Mark who was now fine, drink the tea with his arm simply slung over Mary.

Xavier sipped on his mocha coffee with his arm over my hips.

The smell was so familiar, the same scent that it led me to the shirt I was wearing this morning.

" The shirt." I turned to him, my eyes expectant.

"What shirt?" Xavier asked. His eyes darkened. " Whose shirt?"

" The one I'm wearing in the morning!" I replied. " It smelled like yours."

His eyes grew in delight then he smirked, " And let me guess, you forgotten what happened last night?"

My throat tightened. Heart pounded on my chest. I couldn't speak as I look at him. How did he know that so easily?

" Well, um.. " I looked down, breaking his eye contact since it was burning heavily to me.

He looked over to Mark and Mary who were busy fighting about who had a drink that tastes better and adverted to his voice, dropping low, " It was mine."

I quickly looked at him in question despite me turning deep red, " Did we-?"

He ran his fingers through his hair, and that I think he looks boyish when a smile tug at his lips, " We could have."

I held my breath, blandly stuttering, " W-we c-could h-have?"

He paused for a second as if replaying last night then he shook his head as if to dismiss whatever he thought. " But we didn't do 'it' "

All air broke loose from me as I exhaled in relief. I placed a hand over my head, " Thank God!"

A reaction from me caused Xavier to chuckle softly.

I bit my upper lip as I stare back to his eyes.

He arched his eyebrows as if asking why I was gazing at him.

A flash of me drawing closer and touching his jaw, then my shirt was thrown at the floor, the picture remained as Xavier kissed me with his hands over my waist, the images flashed like a tv channel flipping into another had pulled me to inquire more about the occurrence of last night, " Did you kiss me? "

Xavier tilted his head in thought, moved closer, lowered his head to me, his breath tickled my face, and smirked, " If I remember correctly, you kissed me first."
