Xavier's pov

She saved me when I choose to kill myself.

Our family broke apart, my mom left us leaving dad and I.  One time we are arguing about some nonsensical stuff about growing up and accepting responsibilities, I decided to leave and visit our old hut.

The small hut was a gift from my father to my mom. I could imagine our laughters barreled and music played as we danced with our feet on the ground and hands up in the air. Now, I'm not so sure why I ended up swimming at the Hacava beach drowning myself in bliss.

Until when she pulled me out of it, I just have to see for myself who my saviour was.

She saved me when I couldn't save myself.

Cassy Lavern, I couldn't seem to forget. That was the name the hospital nurse told me.

Out of coincidence, I met her sister Tria. One of the best and awesome person I ever made friends in my life. We got into a topic about her joking that she needed someone who would look after her pretty sister.

That was when I knew that she was sick. Like me. Talk about destiny and whatnot, Tria was the person I met who was extremely cool about dying. I had to salute her for respect and for her bravery  to die leaving me with countless of fun jokes and inspiring words about just living my life and making worth of it.

So, we exchanged letters before she passed away. Until then, when she was gone,I finally came to her the second time, brought her flowers to the cemetery and wanted to ease my heart about her sister Cassy.

She was nowhere to be found. I got only the letter about the address of the hospital. They said she moved.

I need to find her.

So I looked everywhere for her.

Tria became my stepping stone in meeting Cassy. As I visited my parent's well built house the same hut that was abandoned years passed ( where I strongly advised my father to renovate it since it was a good spot for sight seeing), I coincidentally met Cassy and Tria's tomb said my goodbye to an old friend and offered her a ride home.

Like I was, I caught her at the peak of her depression and done what anyone could do. I saved her- returning the favor she did to me.

Cassy was very pretty and innocent, thinking being close to her could influence me to find my identity, to build my own person.

And I was not wrong, I did found myself through her.

I couldn't stop thinking about her so I looked for schools she went in.

So fragile but determined whatever she was aiming in life, I notice that she was an independent, strong-willed and brave like her sister Tria.

" Don't worry, just keep smiling and they won't be scared of you." Cassy assured me on the way towards Mark and Mary's home.

After 2 weeks stuck at the hospital, I could finally come home. Home. Home where Cassy and her daughter and son lived. My children. Our children. Thinking about it lifted a weight on my chest, I finally am seeing my kids.

My mind reeling as we are by the Carraga cliff. She let the sands of the cremation fell on by the cliff. She let it fall the rest as the wind blew it opposite from where we were. She turned to me, " Hello Tria, I just met your friend Xavier. Remember him? "

Cassy was wearing an oceanic print of dress passed her knees. I was wearing a blue plain shirt with white tie and a moldy nude pants since Tris said she doesn't like anyone wearing black or white when visiting her tomb. I agree it makes it more sullen and dull.

" Hi Tria, its me Xavier, I met your sister Cassy. I didn't know she was pretty until I met her in person." I added, " She is hot too."

She nudged my shoulders and I chuckled. Cassy said, " I know it has been so long since I visited you. Don't worry, all's well these past few days. And yea, he actually broke my heart one time."

She punched me on my ribs. I pretended to showcase my hurt. It was my turn to say my apology so I bowed before the headstone and said, " I'm sorry for being such an ass. I'll try to become a better father and I wont run away again."

We stood there for a minute and just admired the blue skies, calming breeze and the beautiful ocean. Minutes passed, we drove towards Mary and Mark's house in one of Tria's SUV.

" What are you thinking?" Cassy flicked her eyes from the road then to me, careful enough as to not skiddled on the dangerous part of the road.

" What do you think I was thinking?" I arched my eyebrow, amused written on my face.

" You are smiling while you are thinking something, it kinda creep me out." She smiled to herself as her eyes focused on the road before her, her hands on her wheel. Her other hand leaning on her chin where her elbow propped up by the windsheild.

" I just can't wait to see the kids."
My smile widened.

Cassy smiled again, she exhaled, " Me too. "

Home

When we came by Mark and Mary's home, we met Miranda on the way, she was beautiful. The color of her eyes complimented her hair which she took from her Mary. Her mouth and mannerism was so much like Mark. She smiled and reached at us as we got nearer the front gate. Mary was at the front of the house, she was smiling.

Cassy kissed her forehead which she beamed and tugged at her hand, " Mom had been waiting for you. "

As soon as we got nearer, Mary reached for Cassy. They hugged each other tightly, embracing as if there would be one day left for two of them to bond. I smiled to Mary and she smiled back.

Mary turned around her back to us and started trudging inside.
Before I could went in, Cassy stopped, " What is it?"

" This had been bugging me for the whole time..." Cassy started, " Why did you lie the first time you met, Tria?"

" About knowing her?"

" Well yeah. It creep me out since then you'll been my classmate then the next day we became seatmate. How sure are you that the risks you've been taking will make me fall for you?"

" I lied because Tria said you are not a true believer of destiny or fate."

" Well, yes. I wasn't but how-"

I kissed her forehead and smiled down at her, " I know you'll fall for me because I had a little help."

I cocked my head at Mark who was talking to Miranda in the open door. " He's my cousin."

" No way!" Cassy agaped at me.

I chuckled.

As we enter the foyer, two head popped from the hallway. A girl that looked like Cassy and a Boy with the same height and face although he had an emerald eyes. Lily waved her hands at us while Cassy waved back at her as we grew closer and closer.

Tears formed in my cheeks and I bit my lip as I looked up in the ceiling trying not to cry. When I could control myself from breaking, I turned to Cassy and asked, " Are they- are they my kids?"

" Ours. My love. " Cassy took hold of my hand and squeezed it. " Ours."
