On My Lazy Day

Oliver rubbed his cheek against the soft sheets of his bed, rolling from his side to his stomach. His body ached, and for a second he wondered what he did, before his eyes snapped open remembering everything. Oliver flushed, a ridiculous grin on his face. He could smell his and Sebastian's scents mixed together heavily in the room. Speaking of Sebastian, he wondered where his mate was. Oliver's neck throbbed where the mating bite was, Oliver sighing happily. It felt like Oliver knew where Sebastian was, but he assumed that's what everyone felt like once they received a mating bite.

Oliver slowly pushed himself up onto his elbows, rubbing his eyes. He gingerly moved himself to the edge of the bed, his ass throbbing dully. He was pretty sure it would have been worse if he didn't have his werewolf healing. Rubbing his low back, his eye caught a bright yellow sticky note on the bed stand (Oliver fairly certain the thing had been knocked over in the sex-capade) seeing Sebastian's neat handwriting. Oliver's own handwriting like chicken scratch.

Was called down for business. Be back up soon. Sleep as much as you like and call me for anything. I should hopefully be back before you wake up. If not, wanted to let you know where I was.

Love,

Sebastian

Oliver smiled at the note, stretching leisurely. As much as it sounded weird, he wanted to start helping Sebastian with his duties and the duties Annabell did. He knew he would hate most days with the incessant work, but he didn't really like lazing about all day since he got bored easily. Which normally lead him to working out like crazy. Oliver got up, heading to the bathroom to do his usual routine and take a hot shower. Oliver winced, feeling something slide down the inside of his thigh, flushing. A shower was definitely in order.

Oliver sighed at the heat, letting it run over him. He closed his eyes, feeling the throbbing in his neck from the claim bite. His mind suddenly super focus on what seemed like a memory; the image kind of fuzzy around the edges but was almost crystal clear in his mind's eye. Sebastian was at his desk at the office, hurriedly finishing a stack of paperwork. Oliver could see the king coming up to him, laughing as he patted Sebastian on the back, the two laughing together. Sebastian's cheeks were a warm pink, looking so happy. It made something even warmer grow in Oliver's belly.

Oliver thought he saw Sebastian mouth his name, wondering what the two were talking about; since he didn't really know how to read lips. Oliver opened his eyes and the moment was gone, Oliver exceedingly confused. He didn't think it was a memory, but he couldn't figure out what else it could be. Oliver shook his head, his stomach grumbling. Oliver was surprised at the sound, remembering that he never had dinner or breakfast which meant he was way off schedule and his body was letting him know.

Oliver hurried out of the shower, getting dressed in loose clothes, heading into the kitchen to decide on what he wanted to make. Oliver frowned only seeing eggs, bacon, a carton of milk, and half a package of cheese. On the counter was a loaf of bread and three boxes of cereal; Cheerios, Fruit Loops, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Nothing that he wanted to eat.

Oliver pulled out his cellphone that he hardly ever used unless it was to play games, having been used to not having a phone since he had been a Wanderer for six years.

"Hello?" Simon asked.

"Oh, uh, hey Simon. Are you busy?" Oliver asked nervously, never having called the man before.

"Master Williams? How can I help you today?" Simon asked curiously.

"Please don't say Master, Simon, it sounds weird," Oliver sighed, hearing Simon give a small chuckle.

"Um... have you made lunch yet?" Oliver asked, biting his lip.

"I have not yet. I am currently making the dough for tonight's rolls," Simon said.
