A knock echoed through the massive office, startling Lana Skye as she wasn't expecting any sort of company that day. "Come in," Her voice was full of hatred, coldness, and distance, like she was trying to escape from the reality of the world. A young female walked into her office, and Lana couldn't help but wonder as to why a girl like her would be able to pass by the front desk without an extremely valid reason.

"Ms. Skye?" Her voice was mature, but a warmness clung to the edges sending Lana into a flutter of despair, remembering the old times where she could be herself. But that was all in the past, and she had to focus on the today.

"Yes," Vivienne noticed the same cold state that Miles had in the eyes of this lady, but Miles seemed to be a natural gift, while Ms. Skye seemed forced.

"Hello, my name is Vivienne Autry. I'm the new Deputy Chief at the Criminal Affairs Department. I wanted to stop by to introduce myself as it may seem that we will be working together," Vivienne smiled at the girl sat in front of her, with the beautiful brunette hair, and solid ocean eyes.

Lana was most definitely convinced that this could not be the new Deputy Chief. She was too young to be able to have such an important role in the department, and took this as a rather sick joke. "Can I see your badge?"

Vivienne was shocked at the sudden question, thinking that a woman like her wouldn't judge another based on looks. She had, apparently, been wrong. It seemed it was Vivienne who shouldn't be judging others. Nevertheless, she didn't fray the smile plastered on her lips like a mask. "Of course," Viv replied before reaching to her side to pull out the shiny, gold badge reading her position.

Lana was not expecting this sort of thing at all. The female looked no younger than 25, and yet here she was, basically becoming a new support system. How could she possibly trust a girl like her? She was just a kid. "Anyways, I simply wanted to introduce myself. I'll be making my exit now. It was very nice to meet you Ms. Skye," Vivienne took this as her cue to leave. Lana was certainly not the talking type, and she didn't want to get on her bad side as this was going to be one of her closely connected partners. Lana didn't seem to say a single word after that, stuck that this girl was going to bring the department down into the ruts, and stuck on the fact that the chief is going to have this girl running by a string. Vivienne felt awkward at the tension building up, so she left without hearing Ms. Skye say goodbye as she wasn't sure how long she could last in an atmosphere such as that.

The Prosecuting Office was the whole reason why police officers were able to put away the criminals when it came to lawsuits and plausible evidence, so getting on the good side of these attorneys was necessary for buisness.

A smirk crossed Vivienne's face when she saw the name Edgeworth on the door of his office. Without even knocking, knowing well that he was that type of person, she let herself in just as Phoenix was mid-sentence, "Yeah! The new deputy she's super h-."

The two men stared at the girl who made herself welcomed into the gorgeously adorned office. She couldn't help but take it all in, seeing a color scheme of gold and maroon all throughout the place. Phoenix had a rush of heat run up his body as his cheeks flustered up in embarrassment at being caught by the same person he was speaking of.

"You know," Ms. Autry began, sliding her finger against the smooth velvet couch, "If you really wanted to speak of someone, you should really learn to speak quieter." Vivienne let out a small laugh, taking in the warmth of the comfy seat placed against the wall. Her eyes roamed to every piece of refined art from the presumptuous silver adorned samurai to the endless pile of freshly read books. The two men were in quite a predicament. They weren't sure what to say or do with the female simply scanning over the office.

"Mr. Edgeworth, I must say, your office is very lovely," Vivienne cheekily smiled, but her laugh was cut short when she noticed a peculiar folder lying on Miles desk. The 23-year old raised from her seat, pretending to take in the scenary but having only one true goal in mind.

She made her way in front of Phoenix, as he stood in front of his desk, leaning against it with one arm. Phoenix caught her stare, and another wave of heat flashed through his cheeks. Vivienne noticed as he turned away, feeling flattered at the sight.

"On another note Mr. Edgeworth," Her shoes clicked against the wooden floors, taking her time to walk behind Miles who sat in his chair. His body tensed when he felt the presence of the young girl behind him. Vivienne's hand shot out to swipe away the document placed on his desk, in beautiful cursive letters wrote Vivienne Relia Autry. "If you really wanted to get to know me, you could have just asked." Viv scrolled through the pages that contained countless amount of information that she never wanted another to find out. It was part of the reason she had left Sacramento in the first place. No one could take her seriously whenever they searched her name up, viewing the articles and filling up with pity.

Vivienne didn't want their pity. She wanted to let the past be past, but for some odd reason, they couldn't even grant her that one favor.

"Uhh, oh," Miles was pretty much at a lost of words. The fact was, Miles just wanted to get to know the girl. Not for any particular reason, his curiosity just spiked. Phoenix felt bad for Miles, watching him bury himself into a hole. He could only assume the beautiful girl standing in his office would want nothing to do with him again.

But to both there surprise, Vivienne just chuckled. Just a short, sweet snicker. "Don't fret. It was bound to happen anyways," She went up to Miles desk, setting down her own file. "Anyways, if you have anything of interest, don't hesitate to contact me. It was nice seeing you again Mr. Edgeworth. And it was very nice to meet you Mr. Wright, I do hope our paths meet again."
