Saanvi was scrubbing herself a little extra today. She applied a little extra makeup. She dressed up a little extra today.
Today is the day when Yudhisthir will return. Today is the day when she will say 'YES' to him. Today was the happiest day of her life. She tidied herself up and went to the palace to welcome Yudhisthir.
"Someone is looking extra beautiful today."- remarked Karna seeing her.

Saanvi blushed.
"All this for my idiot brother Yudhisthir?"- he asked. Saanvi could only nod in yes.
Soon, Yudhisthir's chariot came inside the palace gates. Everybody was cheering for him. His chariot stopped short of the stairs to the main gate. Dasi's were throwing flowers at the chariot. Yudhisthir stepped down from the chariot. He was looking magnificent as always. Saanvi's heartbeats got louder seeing him. Also, it seemed as if Yudhisthir has eyes for only Saanvi. But those eyes were not filled with love now. Instead, there was something else. Remorse. Guilt. But why? Saanvi was confused.
Yudhisthir was climbing the stairs now. Maata Kunti was ready with the puja thali. Yudhisthir touched her feet. Maata kunti applied tilak on his forehead.
"Wait maata! Do not apply this vermilion on my forehead alone. I have someone for you to meet."- Yudhisthir said. Everybody was looking at him confused.
"Draupadi, come!" -Yudhishthir said.

And from inside the chariot, a woman of incomparable beauty, a woman soft as a lotus but bright as fire stepped down from the chariot and climbed the stairs to the palace.
"She is my wife, mother Kunti. Give us your blessings."- Yudhisthir said.
Saanvi's whole world came crashing down. Her breaths labored. Her eyes drooped. She swirled on her feet but Karna caught her. He took her inside and made her rest.
Saanvi fell unconscious.
A/N: Draupadi is married only to Yudhisthir. Not to all five brothers.
