"Gracias Señor, ven de nuevo." (Thank you Sir, come again)

I cheerfully said and bowed a little to show my respect to him. He smiled back, showing his incomplete teeth. After that, the old man walk slowly reaching the exit door of my café.

I diverted my attention to the wall clock hanged on the right side and saw that it's near 10:00 in the morning.

"1 order of dark coffee and 2 slices of caramel cake."

I was ready to face the next customer but before I lifted my head to the front, someone called my name.

"Señor, necesitamos su ayuda." (Sir, we need your help) one of my female worker approached me and base on her expression, she's panicking.

"¿Que paśo, Tilda?" (What happened, Tilda?) I took a two step to get closer to her.

(I got a call from Mr. Diaz he can't go to work today because he's sick. What should we do?"

I took a deep breath and moved my head sideways. That's why she's panicking.

Mr. Diaz is our pastry chef. Although, he's not the only patissier in my café but it's a big problem already every time he's not around, because I consider him as one of the best pastry maker who is working on me.

"No te preocupes, yo haré la cocción." (Don't worry, I'll do the baking) I gave her a smile and patted her shoulder twice.

Well, what can I do?

Also, my skills in baking are better than Mr. Diaz. Thanks to my instructor when I was studying in the Philippines.

"Elena." she lifted her head the moment she heard me calling her name.

"Hoy estarás en el mostrador." (You will be in the counter today.)

She nodded her head while taking off her apron.

"Sí Señor." (Yes, Sir)
