My heart goes lub-dub
Pounding against the chest wall-
Getting louder with passing minute.
Lub-dub, lub-dub
My heart goes lub-dub
The heart is now bulging- a bright red siren-
Going to explode with all that she carries?
Lub-dub, lub-dub
My heart goes lub-dub
She is now visibly trembling
With all my deranged cosmos inside.
Lub-dub, lub-dub
My heart goes lub-dub
Her arteries are clogged and damaged
With my guests gambling out and in.
Lub-dub, lub-dub
My heart goes lub-dub
Raging now-throbbing at every inch-
She can hold it in no more.
Lub-dub, lub-dub
My heart goes lub dub
Filling her pen with blood,
She starts pouring out, rapidly.
Lub dub, lub dub
My heart goes lub dub
Crushing itself for all she has seen,
Feeling guilty for all she has been.
Lub dub, lub dub
My heart goes lub dub
Burning the midnight oil, like today,
She scribbles in blood about all her woes.
Lub dub, lub dub
My heart goes lub dub
She is no longer swelling, thankfully;
Light as a feather with every other word.
Lub dub, lub dub
My heart goes lub dub
She lets her arteries relax-
It's time to call it a night.
Lub dub, lub dub
My heart goes lub dub
Spraying the walls with the crimson tide-
She still prefers to keep the door open.
Lub dub, lub dub
My heart goes lub dub
Lub dub, lub dub
My heart goes lub dub
I peep inside and smile at her,
Realising she won't learn the lesson, ever.
Now hush, will you? It's not playtime, yet.
Be my guest tomorrow, not today - Good night.
