Azal felt like crying harder now.
But why? Tom never loved him, it was all the thrall! So why did it hurt so much then?
Azal...he loved Tom. He cared about him! And whether Tom cared or not, Azal loved him and wanted him!
And that meant he had made his choice.

That Wednesday, Azal burst into the room.
"Azal!" Adras jumped in surprise. "You scared me!"
"You should be scared." Azal growled.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me."
This time, Azal grabbed Adras by his hair.
"What are you-"
"I am done letting you pull me on a string!" Azal yelled. "I've made my choice!"
Azal threw him against the wall. "I'm staying with Tom, and you can't stop me."
"How dare you! I have-"
"The knowledge! I don't care about it anymore!" Azal glared. "Now, I never want to see you again!"
"You're going to regret this!" Adras yelled.
"I love Tom," Azal said. "And that's something I'll never regret." Azal left the room.
