The journey to the Nether portal is long, but thankfully it isn't too hard to find once you know its location. It's located in the mountains, Ethereal Heights to be exact, located close to Verane Kingdom and Alamut City. That would seem like a short ride since the base is nearby, but going through those mountains is no easy feat. They are rocky and treacherous and not only that, they're exposed. Ethereal Heights borders a luscious forest on the east side of them, but on the west is bare. It makes going through the mountains more dangerous since there is nothing to grab if you were to fall. And there is no cover that can provide safety if you're attacked.

The Sky Army convoy ditched the horses at Alamut City, letting the city care for the animals until they return. It's been a few hours since they set out, it is only two hours before dawn. Adam is at the front, followed by Harvey, Cassandra, Statilia, Jerome, Mitch, Ian, Quentin, and the recruits that tagged along. Adam is looking around for Ty, hoping to spot the dragonling in the skies or on the ground. 'Hopefully, Ty didn't get lost. But knowing him, that might be the case,' Adam thought to himself. After almost an hour and a half of walking and climbing, Adam spots the cave. Adam cracks a small smile looking at it.

Harvey stops beside him, looking at the cave. "Let's pray to Notch that they are still there and haven't gone in the Nether yet," he said. Adam nodded, agreeing with the wizard.

He then looked around. "Where's Ty?" Adam mumbled looking around. Harvey looking around as well as the others caught up with the two.

Jerome looked at the cave, sighing. "I hate the Nether Realm. It's so damn hot with all the lava," Jerome complained.

Mitch knocked Jerome upside the head as he walked past him. "Quit complaining," he said.

Adam looked at the others. "Hide in the forest," Adam ordered. They moved into the forest that was nearby, staying there. And once Adam got there, he felt a hand grab his shoulder making him flinch and grab the person's arm.

But before Adam could do anything, a voice stopped him. "Sky, wait! It's me, Ty!" they called out.

Adam looked at Ty and let go of his arm. "Ty, you know better than to do that to me, I could have snapped your arm," he told Ty.

Ty smiled at Adam. "I know," he said.

Adam smiled when he looked behind Ty, seeing that Ty didn't come alone. "Been a while, Captain Derek," Adam spoke as he saw the dragonmere captain land on the grass a few feet away.

Derek looked at Adam, walking up beside Ty. "Indeed it has," he said.

"So you can speak Astinan!" Jerome shouted pointing at Derek. The others either smiled or chuckled.

Derek arched an eyebrow up at the hybrid. "Never said I couldn't, General Aceti," he said.

Jerome narrowed his eyes at Derek. "Yeah, but it was implied since you have only ever spoken dragon tongue--"
