Promises

Barry woke up on the couch with Kara's head rested on his chest while she was peacefully sleeping, he smiled and kissed her head.

"I love you Kara." Barry whispered

"I love you too." Kara said smiling up at him

"How long have you been awake?" Barry asked laughing as Kara smiled

"As soon as you kissed my head." Kara said resting her head back on his chest

"Sorry i didn't mean to wake you." Barry said smiling and resting his chin on her head

"Can we go to the festival we were going to go to yesterday?" Kara asked not moving

"Sure." Barry said 

"And i do not take 45 minutes to get ready." Kara said moving her head causing Barry's head to fall a bit.

"Okay, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration." Barry admitted

"Yeah, see." Kara said 

"It's most likely 30 minutes." Barry said causing Kara to slap his arm lightly as she pouted.

"How about i help you." Barry whispered in her ear sending shivers down her spine.

Her face went a bit red as Barry smiled and kissed her temple.

"Let's go." Barry said standing up

"Why the festival doesn't start for another 3 hours." Kara said laughing

"Well, i thought we could spend those 3 hours together." Barry said holding out his hands as Kara grabbed them and he pulled her off the couch

"Sounds good." She said walking to the bathroom

Even without his speed Barry got ready in 15 minutes while Kara tooka bit longer. 

"Kara, you done yet." Barry asked

"No, you can't rush beauty." Kara said from the other side of the bathroom door

"I'm sure you already look beautiful." Barry said as Kara opened the door staring at him

"I don't even have makeup on." She said going back to the mirror

"You don't need makeup." Barry said standing behind her and wrapping his arms around he waist and kissing her neck.

"But i wanna at least look decent." Kara said blushing

"You. Look. Beautiful." Barry said spinning Kara around so she's facing him

"Thanks, Barr." She said smiling and kissing him

"Shall we go?" Barry said

"Yup." Kara said looping her arm with his

Barry and Kara spent 3 hours walking around Central City laughing and talking. When the festival came around Kara was already tired.

"Barr, my feet hurt." Kara said pouting as Barry chuckled Barry bent his knees a bit and lifted Kara on his back as she squeeled a bit.

"Did you just squeel?" Barry asked laughing

"Uhh maybe." Kara said placing her face in the back of Barry's neck out of embarrasment

"I thought it was cute." Barry said laughing as Kara's face turned a bit red

Barry walked around and got a few weird looks because Kara was still on his back but that didn't bother him.

"Are your feet still sore?" Barry asked as Kara smiled

"If i said no, would you put me down." Kara said 

"No." Barry said smiling 

"Barr, look." Kara said excitedly pointing to the fireworks

"Woahhhh." Barry said looking up. Kara jumped of Barry's back and stood in front of him as he was still looking up at the fireworks, he looked back at Kara was looking at him with tears in her eyes.

"Why are you crying?" Barry asked wiping her tears.

"Nothing, it's just, i love you so much Barry." She said smiling

"I love you more." Barry said wrapping his arms around her waist and lifting her up. She smiled at him as she looked deep into his eyes. They brought their lips together and shared a kiss that would put any romantic movie to shame. Once they pulled apart Barry placed Kara back on the floor she tripped and fell but Barry caught her.

"Thanks, Barr." She smiling 

"Just don't drop me." Kara joked as Barry pulled her back up

"Never." He said smiling

"How can you always be so romantic." Kara said chuckling 

"I am a man of many talents." Barry replied

"And best thing is that your all mine." Kara said smiling

"Took the words right outta my mouth." Barry said kissing her

"Barr, can you make me a promise?" Kara said pulling from the kiss

"Sure."

"Can you promise to never leave me......i don't know what i'd do without you." Kara looking at Barry as he laughed

"Why are you laughing." Kara asked frowning

"Nothing, it's just the fact that you think i'll ever leave you and i promise you even in death i'll never leave you ever." Barry said smiling as Kara smiled as well

"Your my everything." Barry said as hands cupped Kara's face

"Your my world." Kara said smiling like an idiot.

'How did i get to luckly?' Kara and Barry said in their minds looking at each other
