Kara was on her lunch break and decided to head over to CCPD to visit Barry. Once she arrived at CCPD she headed upstairs to his lab an heard laughter from Barry and another person's laugh. A woman's laugh. 

"Hey Barr." Kara said knocking on the door as Barry smiled widely at her and walked over

"Hey, babe." he said kissing her. Kara smiled at him and noticed the other girl's frown in the cornor of her eye.

"Oh, Kara this is my CSI partner and friend, Patty Spivot and Patty this is my girlfriend, Kara Danvers." Barry said smiling as the girls nodded and smiled at eachother but both had frowns for seperate reasons. Patty had a not-so-secret crush on Barry and everyone in the department knew excpet for Barry. Kara knew instantly that Patty had a crush on Barry and felt a bit jealous because he and Patty had a lot more in common and not to mention Patty in Kara's eyes was gorgeous. 

"Nice to meet you." Patty said holding out her hands as Kara shook it

"Nice to meet you too, my name is Kara." She replied smiling and quickly correcting herself

"But of course you already knew that because Barry just said my nam-" Kara's rambling was cut off by Barry kissing Kara's temple telling her she was rambling.

"Sorry, i tend to do that a lot" She said a bit embarrassed as Barry laughed and wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into his side.

"Yeah, i see you're exactly as Barry described you." Patty said smiling a bit sadly. Patty found Kara adorable and beautiful and knew instantly that she stood no chance against Kara.

"Thanks." Kara said blushing at the fact that Barry talked about her at work. Barry, Kara and Patty talked for a few minutes until someone familiar came into the room

"Hey Spivot, Allen, Captain needs that evidence from the break-in this morning." Joe said walking into the office. In this new world since his father never went to jail Barry never lived with the West family, thus he and Joe weren't as close in this new world.

"Here you go, detective West." Barry said unwrapping his arm from Kara's waist and reaching for a bag and handing it to Joe. one downside of the new world is that he and Joe weren't on a first name basis which Barry hated, he considered Joe a father figure and now Joe only sees him as a CSI nothing more and nothing less.

"Oh and Spivot, captian wants to see you." Joe said walking out as Patty threw her rubbish in the bin

"See you later Barry and Kara." Patty said smiling and walking out. As Patty left Barry smiled at Kara who was frowning

"You okay?" He asked as Kara fakely smiled at him

"Yeah, i'm all good." She said trying to convice him

"Kara, you are good at many things lying is not one of them." Barry said smiling as Kara sighed

"It's just you and Patty have so much in common, i can't help but think that you and her would be perfect for eachother and i'm just in the way of your happiness." Kara admitted looking down and letting tears slide her cheek

"July 18th." Was all Barry said as Kara looked up at him confused

"July 18th?" She asked as Barry smiled

"Our first date." He said wiping her tears

"September 5th." He said looking at her as she smiled at him remembering one of the best days of her life

"That day you said you loved me." She replied smiling into Barry's chest as she hugged him tightly

"September 6th." He said

"The day i promised you that i would never in a million years leave you." He said as Kara smiled widely and cried again this time happy tears as Barry smiled and wiped them away

"Kara, i love you so much and it breaks me apart thinking about my life without you in it." Barry said looking deep into Kara's eyes

"And i'm also scared tht one day, you'll find someone better." he continued sniffling 

"and you'll leave me as well, i just don;t know what i'd do without you in my life." he finished as Kara pulled him into passionate kiss

"I love you more then i'd like to admit" Kara said smiling at him as Barry wiped his own tears

"June 9th." She said as Barry made a confused face

"The day you bumped into me at Jitters." She said smiling as Barry remembered and smiled

"July 18th was also the day you asked me to be your girlfriend and also the day i fell in love." She said as Barry kissed her again

"I fell in love on June 9th." He said smiling as Kara blushed

"I guess we both have silly fears." Kara said laughing slightly

"Yeah we do, i love you and only you Kara." He said looking at Kara

"I love you more then you could ever know." She replied as Barry pulled her into a kiss by her waist.

"C'mon let's go back home." He said as Kara nodded and they walked out of CCPD hand in hand
