Heroes Unite (Part 3)

The heroes were in the Cortex all in their suits and readying themselves for the oncoming battle. Alex was still a little confused on what she walked in on.

"Hey Kara, what did i walk in on a minute ago?" Alex asked as her sister went red in the face

"Well uh, how do i explain this." Kara said nervously picking up on Barry's nervous habit of scratching the back of his neck, "A week ago this guy named The Moniter came to me and Earth-10 with a proposal." Kara breathed out trying to calm her nerves

"He wanted to merge me and Earth-10 Kara to basically form one person, and we did. So now i'm Barry's wife and mother to his kids, and don't try and convince me i'm making a mistake because i love Barry with my whole heart and always will and now i have two beautiful children and no one can take that away from me." Kara said sternly as Alex smiled for her sister's happiness

"Don't worry, i'm not going to stop you, i'm just happy that you're happy and i better be Aunt Alex or i'll change my mind about this." Alex said pointing her finger laughing as the sisters shared a hug, "And tell Barry that if he hurts you i will break both of his legs." Alex said walking away as Kara sighed as rubbed her temple.

"What's wrong honey?" Barry asked wrapping his arm aorund her waist

"Nothing, i just had the talk with Alex." Kara said as Barry had a worried expression, "Don't worry she said it was fine and wanted to be Aunt Alex and kinda said that if you hurt me she'll break your legs." Kara said as Barry smiled and kissed her temple

"Yeah Earth-10 Alex was the same, but i'll never hurt you in any way shape or form because i love you more than anything in existence." Barry said as she blushed and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, "And i always will, nothing can change that." He whispered in her ear making her smile

"Okay, Team A will engage now, Team B will discretly enter and gather as much infomation as possible." Oliver instructed as everyone nodded and went off. Before they left Barry and Kara kissed their children goodbye.

Team A were standing outside of the warehouse waiting for something to happen, until Mick got restless and torched the front door of the warehouse.

"Mick!!" Ray said as Mick smiled at his work

"What, these dumb alien bastards are being too slow." Mick grunted as he lowered his weapon. 

Soon several high pitched screechs were heard and then five dominaters burst through the door each holding alien rifles and opening fire upon the heroes. Barry and Wally managed to speed everyone out of the way before anyone sustained any major injuries.

"Anyone hurt?" Barry asked as everyone checked their bodies, he was glad he and Wally saved everyone until he was shot in the side by a Dominater. Kara was instantly at his side and helping him up

"Are you okay?" Kara asked worriedly

"I'm fine." Barry grunted as Kara helped him to his feet, "Thanks babe." Barry said quickly kissing her cheek and speeding forward and disarming every Dominater in front of them, he sped back and dropped the weapons back at STAR Labs before speeding back to the warehouse to see everyone all ready fighting.

While everyone was fighting Team B used the noise as a cover to blow a hole in the side of the warehouse to gain entry without being spotted. They scouted out the contents of the warehouse and found five more Dominaters working on a machine.

"What's the plan?" John asked readying his gun

"Fight." Oliver said drawing an explosive arrow and shooting at the machine causing it to short circut and explode. The Dominaters looked to the source of the arrow and each grabbed a gun of their own and opened fire. They ducked behind cover as the Dominaters unleashed a barrage of bullets on them. Once they stopped Rene, Oliver, John, Alex and Thea all shot at the aliens while Dinah used her canary cry and knock a few of them away. They all jumped the barracade and fought hand-to-hand with the Dominaters until one of the Dominaters threw a grenade but Oliver shot it out of the sky causing an explosion and letting the Dominaters escape with the machine they were working on.

Back outside the heroes had a relatively easy time against five Dominaters until one of them brought out an ice grenade, that was specifically made to fight against speedsters. It threw it at Wally, but Barry quickly caught the grenade and threw it back.

"How do they know about our weakness?" Wally asked as he caught his breath

"They've probably encounter a few speedsters on other planets." Kara said as she shot her heat vision.

The last of the Dominaters were quickly disposed of and were incapaciated. They entered the warehosue and saw Team B staring at the makeshift workshop the Dominaters had set up

"Kara can you ready any of this?" Sara asked as Kara scanned the symbols all over the walls

"No, but i know someone who might, but i need to go back to my Earth." Kara said as she picked up a tablet full of writing that she couldn't understand. Barry came to her side but what everyone noticed is that he was walking with a limp.

"Are you okay?" Kara asked seeing Barry as he could barely keep his eyes open.

"Yeah, just.....really tired....and cold." Barry said before passing out on the floor. Kara quickly checked on him and saw he had a large frostbite wound on his side.

"Barry, please i can't lose you as well, neither can Grant or Melissa." Kara said as tears fell onto Barry's forehead.

"Kara we need to get him to STAR Labs now." Cisco said as Kara began to sob uncontrollably into her sister's shoulder

Cisco carried him through the breach and straight into the medbey

"Caitlin, he's got a major frostbite wound, he needs help now!!!" Kara cried as Caitlin ran to the medbey

"His wounds are too severe, does anyone here have any medical training?" Caitlin asked as Alex perked up and ran to help her leaving Kara alone. Felicity saw how sad and worried she was and walked over holding Grant and Melissa

"Some people were missing Mommy, weren't they?" Felicity asked as she handed them to Kara

"Hey, thank you for taking care of them for us." Kara said as Melissa and Grant smiled at their mother

"It's no problem and hey, Barry will be oaky, he's been through worse and Barry's to stubborn to die." Felicity said as Kara smiled

"I know, i just should of been there." Kara admited looking through the pane of glass and seeing Alex and Caitlin operating on Barry

"Don't blame yourself, that's what everyone tells me." Oliver said walking in and sitting next to Kara, "And Barry would kill me if i let you sit here and blame yourself." Oliver said as Kara sniffed and wiped her eye

"Daddy's going to be okay, and he loves you." Kara said to her children and kissing their foreheads. 

Kara had waited too long to be with Barry and she sure as well was not losing him now, no matter the cost. She needed Barry as much as she needed to breath, because without him, she wouldn't be able to live.
