Lake Day

"Are you sure you know the way?" Barry said pushing a branch out of the way as they were walking

"Yeah, i think so." Kara said walking in front of him.

"There it is." Kara said excitedly as she ran over to the lake.

"Wait up, babe." Barry yelled as she ran off.

"We're finally here." Kara said grabbing Barry's arm

"Yeah." He said smiling and taking off his shirt. He caught Kara staring at him.

"Oh, was last night not enough for you." Barry said with a smirk.

"Oh, it was more then enough." Kara said kissing his cheek. Kara walked to the edge of the jetty and took a deep breath of fresh air that was immediatly iterrupted by Barry picking her up from behind and jumping into the water.

"Oh my god it's cold." Barry said trying to climb back ontot he jetty.

"Nope you jumped in with me so your staying with me." Kara said jumping on his back pulling him back into the water.

"Sorry babe, but the water looked really ni-." Barry said but was cut off by Kara splashing water in his face.

"You're on Ms Danvers." Barry said swimming after her as she tried to swim away

He caught up to ther and pulled her underwater. They resurfaced a moment later with Barry lifting Kara up and holding her by her waist.

"You know you should wear your glasses less." Barry said smiling and looking into her eyes as she blushed.

"Maybe." She said 

"I love you Kara Danvers." He said smiling as Kara smiled back and wrapped her arms around his neck

"And i love you too Barry Allen." She said bringing him into a kiss with enough burning passion to evaporate the lake.

They swam back to the shore and and looked around

"Where are the towel?" Barry asked as Kara pointed 

"Over there." She said pointing to the jetty

"Nevermind i'll get them later." He said lying down on the grass. Kara nodded and laid her head on his chest.

"Why is your chest more comfortable then my pillow?" Kara asked 

"Because you sleep on my chest more often then you sleep on your pillow." Barry said laughing and wrapping an arm around her waist

"I love you Barr." She said looking up at him

"Love you too, babe." Barry said kissing her as she climbed on rop of him.

"Save it for the cabin, Ms Danvers" Barry said smiling

"But no one's here." Kara said pouting

"If you want we can go to the cabin now." He said smiling as Kara nodded and ran to their towels

"Babe." he called running after her.

"Yeah?" She said stopping and turning around

"I know your excited but please calm down before you hurt yourself." Barry said laughing

"Sorry..." She said innocently

As they were walking back to their cabin Kara started to walk a bit faster and then stepped on a sharp rock and cut the bottom of her foor.

"Ow." Kara said looking at her foot and seeing blood

"BARRY!." She called as Barry sped walked over to see her foot

"I told you." Barry said wrapping a towel around her foot to stop the bleeding

"It really hurts." Kara said on the verge of tears

"I know, i'm sorry." Barry said tightening the towel and hearing her wince in pain. Barry held her in his arms and began walking back tot he cabin as she held their stuff.

"Barr, it's a prettly long walk from here back to the cabin and your gonna be carrying me the whole time." Kara said worriedly

"Babe, i'd carry you anywhere." Barry said smiling as she leaned her head on Barry's chest. Barry kept talking to her to distract her from her pain, and it worked.

"Here we're at the cabin, is there a first aid kit anywhere?" Barry asked placing Kara on the couch

"Yeah, there should be one in the bathroom." Kara said as Barry nodded and grabbed the kit.

"This is gonna hurt." Barry said 

"Don't worry Barr, i'm a big girl." Kara said smiling as Barry removed the towel and began disinfecting it.

"Ow." Kara said in pain.

"Sorry i'll try and be more careful." Barry said slowly wiping away the dry blood.

A few minutes late Barry had patched up Kara's wound.

"How's it feel?"

"Still painful." Kara said 

"Sorry, i couldn't find any painkillers." Barry said sitting next to her. She smiled and laid her head in his lap and looked up at him.

"Your smile takes away all my pain." She said smiling at him as he played with her hair.

"And i thought i was the cheesey one." Barry said laughing and kissing her 

"I'll go make us some food." Barry said as he was about to stand up until he saw Kara's frown.

"Or i can stay right here." Barry said as Kara smiled at him

"Thanks Barr." She said 

"No problem, honey." He said kissing her

"Honey?"

"What it felt natural." Barry said in defence

"Only married couples call each other 'honey'" Kara said laughing

"I would love too call you my wife one day." Barry said smiling at her as she blushed at the thought of being Mrs. Allen

"And i'm looking forward tot he day i become Mrs. Allen." She said as Barry kissed her and turned the TV on.
