A New Multiverse

Barry and Kara shot awake in their bed together in their civilian clothes. But one thing was that everything that happened was still fresh in their memories.

"Kara?" Barry asked rubbing his eyes as Kara did the same and looked around their bedroom confused, "What was the last thing you remember?" He asked

"I remember fighting the Anti-Moniter and then The Speedforce and, three other people fought him as well, then they sent him to a place called The Source Wall and then a blinding light and that's it." She said hazily

"Morning Mom." A familiar voice said as Barry and Kara's hearts stopped.

"Mom? Dad?" Another voice asked as tears came to their eyes

"Grant, Melissa........?" Barry asked tearily as they stood their confused

"Are you two okay?" Melissa asked a little weird out as Kara smiled widely and hugged them both

"I love you both so so so much." Kara cired happily hugging her children while their babies slept peacefully in their cribs.

"We love you too mom." Grant chuckled as Barry ran over and joined the hug

"I love you both as well." Barry said with happiness tears streaming down his face. It was a gift from the four multiversal forces, they of course knew that Grant and Melissa would have to go back to their time but at least Barry and Kara know that their children are alive and healthy and baby Grant and Melissa are still healthy so is Barry, Kara got everything she wanted.

"We love you as well Dad." Melissa giggled, "What's gotten into you?" She asked her parents

"Why don't they remember?" Kara asked wiping her tears while still smiling as Grant and Melissa stood their in confusion

"What are we that they're not?" Barry asked as all three of them shrugged their shoulders, "Paragons." He clarified as Kara nodded

"Ohhh, maybe J'onn can restore their memories." Kara suggested as he nodded

"What did you put in their food?" Grant muttered to his sister as she sighed and shook her head

"Nothing, and i'm just as confused as you are." She said tilting her head at Grant.  

"Don't remember what?" Grant asked as Kara put her hand on his cheek

"The Crisis." Barry said 

"What Crisis?" Melissa asked even more confused

"Don't you remember the Crisis?" Kara asked worriedly

"No." Grant and Melissa said blankly

"J'onn can return your memories back to you." Kara said smiling as Barry pulled her aside

"Are you sure that's the best idea?" He asked, "We're going to show them their own deaths, i don't want that for them, i don't want them to think that they are meant to be dead." Barry said as Kara sighed and nodded slightly, "We can tell them just don't show them, if that's what you want?" He asked as she nodded again

"Guys, you might want to sit down for this." Barry said as Grant and Melissa nodded and sat down on the couch, "Recently a Crisis happened and during this Crisis......you two....died." Barry said sadly just thinking about that moment brought him and Kara right back. The helpless felling of watchig their children on the treadmill, the feeling of running out of the building and the feeling like they failed them as parents.

"We died?" Melissa asked, "Well that explains why you were acting the way you were." She said smiling

"Welp, we're not dead anymore so why don't we just live with that." Grant said as Kara and Barry tearily nodded and hugged the twins

"How did we die?" Melissa asked curisouly

"That doesn't matter, what matters is that you're both alive." Barry said with a bright smile

"Please?" Melissa pouted

"Honey, we're not going to tell you how you died." Kara chuckled

"Fine." Melissa sighed leaning her head on her mother's shoulder

"And since dad was supposed to die yesterday according to mom, i guess our job is done here." Grant said dusting his hands off

"I guess so." Barry and Kara said sadly

"Don't worry mom, we're one room over, just as babies." Melissa said hugging her as Kara held onto her tightly

"Grant, i'm proud of you, when you get back to your time take care of your mother and sister, okay?" Barry asked as Grant nodded and hugged his dad

"Melly, i love you and when you go back to your time, take care of your borhter and father, and also tell Chris you love him, if it worked for me and your father it'll work for the both of you." Kara said as Melissa nodded with tears brimming her eyes, "Don't cry sweetie." Kara said rubbing her back

"Mom and dad in case if we messed something up and when we return home and our timeline is all messed up, we love you." Grant said as Melissa nodded rapidly

"We love you too." Kara said smiling at her two children and kissing their foreheads. The four of them sped over to an open field under the sunset. The family shared one last warm hug before Grant and Melissa relucantly pulled away and waved goodbye. They turned around and sped forward leaving a gust of wind in their wake and through a blue portal

"Do you think they're going to be okay?" Kara asked sadly leaning on Barry's shoulder

"I can only hope." Barry smiled as the dust settled

"What else is new in this multiverse?" Kara asked as Barry smiled

"We can ask The Speedforce." He suggested as she nodded
