"Barr i appriciate the help, but you gotta stop babying me." Kara chuckled as Barry helped her out of bed

"I need to make sure my beautiful wife and child are safe and comfy." Barry said smiling

"I would be more comfy in your arms." Kara said holding up her arms like a child

"Okay." Barry chuckled lifting her up bridal style as she smiled and rested her head in the crook of his neck

Barry had been cutting back on hours at CCPD to help Kara out with the baby, much against Kara's wishes. She hates seeing Barry doing all the work while she just sits on the couch, even though Barry has superspeed.

"Can we get ice-cweam?" Kara asked pouting like a child

"Sure." Barry said plopping her on the couch and was about to speed off until Kara jumped on his back

"I meant together." Kara said buring her face into his neck

"Let's get going." Barry said as Kara smiled widely and hopped his back and wrapping her arms around his waist and exiting there apartment

"When can we see the gender?" Barry asked as Kara rubbed her stomach

"I don't know, but believe me i couldn't be more excited." Kara chuckled smiling at her belly

"Me too, i would prefer a girl though." Barry said as Kara nodded

"A girl would be nice, but a boy would be cute." Kara said taking hold of Barry's arm

"Oh oh oh Barr, what if we have twins?" Kara asked excitedly

"That would be awesome and scary." Barry said

"Scary, why?"

"Because they'll probaly be speedsters." Barry said as realisation hit Kara

"Ohhhhhhhhh, parenting just got a whole lot harder." Kara sighed leaning her head on Barry's shoulder

"We'll get through it, together." Barry said kissing the top of her head

"Together."

After they had gotten there ice-cream they had to decide whether to tell Eliza or Joe first

"You can speed us over to Midavle can't you?" Kara asked

"You think i wanna speed around with my pregnant wife?" Barry asked

"But Barryyyyyy, it'll take too long to drive and i really wanna tell Eliza in person." Kara whined

"No whining." Barry said kissing her cheek as she crossed her arms over her chest

"How about Joe?" Kara asked

"Interdimensional travel? No thank you." Barry said rubbing her belly

"I love that you're overprotective but we can't wait forever, because if i give birth without telling Eliza, she'll kill me and i'm sure Joe won't be very happy." Kara chuckled holding Barry's hand

"I know, i know, how about we go to Midvale tomorrow and we'll go tell my Dad, then Joe." Barry said as Kara nodded excitedly

"Can we go to Midvale today?" Kara asked clinging to Barry's arm, giving Barry her puppy dog look that he could never say no to.

"Fine, Eliza is going to be so happy." Barry said smiling at Kara as she smiled in excitement

"Yeah, she's always wanted to be a grandparent." Kara exclaimed excitedly

"Same with Joe and my Dad." Barry smiled at her 

"Let's get going." Kara said happily

"Okay, okay." Barry chuckled making her face light up

Barry picked up Kara bridal style and sped cautiously over to Midvale. Kara in reality was terrified everytime Barry ran with her, but as long as she was in his arms she felt safe and invincible.

"We're here." Barry said placing her on her feet, as she stumbled a bit

"Are you okay, was i going to fast?" Barry asked holding onto as she shook her head

"Barr, i'm fine." Kara smiled as Barry nodded and they walked to the front door hand in hand preparing themselves for the excitement of Eliza

"Kara? Barry?, What a pleasant suprise." Eliza said smiling and opening the door wider, inviting them in

"Hey Eliza." Kara said boucing in excitement

"Hi Eliza." Barry said walking into the house with Kara while holding her shoulders down so she would stop bouncing.

"So why are you guys here, i appriciate the visit don't get me wrong." Eliza said as Kara and Barry shared a look

"Well, i'm pregnant." Kara said as a wave of happiness and pure joy washed over Eliza

"Really, i'm so happy for you!" Eliza exclaimed excitedly bring Kara into a hug

"I'm thinking you're more excited then we are." Barry chuckled as Eliza smiled

"I'm sure Kara told, but i've always wanted grandchilren." Eliza said as Barry smiled and nodded

"So what names are you thinking?" Eliza asked 

"If it's a boy then Grant Thomas Danvers-Allen."

"And if it's a girl then Melissa Nora Danvers-Allen." Barry finished

"Those are beautiful names, i'm not being bias but a little girl would be lovely." Eliza said holding Kara's hands

"Barry wants a girl as well, but a boy would be so cute." Kara said happily

"Maybe you'll have twins?" Eliza asked curiously

"Best of both worlds?" Kara said looking at Barry as he brought her into his side and kissed her temple

"Yeah, i want to know this baby's gender so bad." Barry said rubbing her belly

"Me too." Kara said putting her hand on Barry's

"We should go tell Joe now." Barry said as Kara nodded and they both stood up

"Bye guys be safe, and tell me the gender when you find out." Eliza said smiling 

"Don't worry we will." Kara said giving Eliza one final hug before leaving with Barry.
