Dead or Alive

On the outskirts of Central City a man sat in the shadows whilst looking at a hologram device that displayed photos of Kara, Alura, Ariella and Clark. The man smirked under his breath as he smashed the holographic device in the palm of his hand.

Meanwhile, Ariella was rushing through the busy sidewalk of Central City while holding two coffees. She checked her watch and cringed at seeing how late she was. She ran into an ally and before anyone could see her she flew into the sky and to her workplace.

"You're late." Snapper said tapping his foot on the floor as Ariella quickly re-adjusted her glassses

"I-i'm sorry i....uh overslept." Ariella said sheepishly.

"Jeez." Kara laughed walking over, "Sorry about her, it's her first day." She said smiling as their superviser sighed and walked off.

"Just make sure your assistant gets here on time next time Danvers." Snapper huffed walking away. In the passing weeks Kara got Ariella a job at CCPN as her assistant.

"Will do." Kara said. As soon as Snapper was out of earshot Kara flicked Ariella on the side of the head, "Did you use your powers to get here?" She asked sternly

"No." Ariella said rubbing her head as Kara squinted her eyes at her

"Ari, we've been over this, no using your power until you can fully control them." Kara scolded

"I can control my powers Kara." Ariella said handing Kara her coffee, "And plus i wanted to give you your coffee while it was still hot." She smiled

"Please promise me you'll at least be careful next time." Kara urged as Ariella sighed and nodded. Kara heard the elevator ding and smiled instantly

"Is Barry here?" Ariella sighed seeing Kara's wide smile

"No, why?" Kara asked confused

"You're making that face you make whenever you see or hear Barry." Ariella teased

"H-He's my husband." Kara said flustered, "But that's not why." She said waving at someone. A man with a medium to large build and glasses came over and hugged Kara

"It's been a long time Kara." The man smiled

"Kara i don't need you to set me up, we've been over this." Ariella said rubbing her temples

"What, no, no, no." Kara said waving her hands frantically, "This is Clark Kent." She smiled

"Nice to meet you." Clark said shaking her hand

"You too." Ariella said

"Firm grip you got there." Clark smiled

"Same with you." Ariella said rubbing her hand

"Oh my, how can you not recognize each other?" Kara exclaimed grabbing their arms and walking over to some where with less people

"Clark how much do remember about me?" Kara asked which confused him even more

"That you're my cousin and that you took care of me." Clark said being wary of a 'civilian'

"Do you remember another blonde girl?" Kara asked

"Kinda." Clark said scratching his head

"Ariella, Clark Kent isn't his name, his name is Kal-El." Kara said as Ariella dropped her coffee cup

"Woah, Kara you can't just tell random people my actual name." Clark said as Ariella ran and hugged him

"Kal!!!" Ariella exclaimed hugging her cousin.
