Epilogue

--In the Speedforce--

The Speedforce in the form of Nora Allen sat in a chair rocking back and forth while smiling to herself whilst humming a melody that she'd sing to her own son. She looked up at the sky and smiled as she heard footsteps approaching her.

"Oh? Freya, what brings you to my dimension?" Nora asked

"Barry Allen of Earth-Prime, why did you give him a second chance?" Freya asked curiously

"Hmmm, do i need a reason?" Nora chuckled

"It's not like you to care about what happens to humans, especially those who have messed with the timeline." Freya said shrugging her shoulders 

"I believed he was the salvation of his Earth.......no....i believed he was the salvation of every Earth." Nora smiled closing her eyes and basking in the sunlight, despite being in the Speedforce.

"What made you think that?" Freya asked

"I'm not sure." Nora laughed.

--Earth-Prime, 5 Years Later--

Barry ran around him and threw a lightning bolt that shot through the air and hit him in the back. Kara flew in and shot her heat vision at his chest and punched him into the floor.

"Barr, we're going to be late." Kara said worriedly as people cheered them on as the unconscience King Shark laid there in a ditch.

"Crap." Barry said speeding away as Kara flew off behind him. They raced back to their house and got a into a change of clothes, "Five minutes left." He said checking his watch. He felt someone tug on his leg and he smiled.

"Daddy, we are we going?" Melissa asked as Barry lifted her up into his arms.

"We're going to Aunt Ariella and Sam's wedding." Barry smiled as Melissa giggled in his arms and hugged her dad as Kara walked in holding Grant in her arms.

Five years ago Barry and Kara overcame the Crisis that threatened to wipe out the entire Multiverse. And having lived through that Crisis they have experienced joy, sadness, anger and love, everything that makes them heroes.

"Why isn't my mom picking up?" Kara sighed

"Babe, she's still getting used to having a phone." Barry chuckled locking the door behind him. Kara put Grant onto his feet and sped away. Coming back a second later with Alura.

"Kara Dear, i told you not to do that anymore." Alura said holding her hand over her heart

"Come on mom we're going to be late." Kara urged grabbing her hand. Barry put the twins in the back seat next to Alura as Kara hopped into the drivers seat and drove off the to venue.

Over the five years the names Hyperion and Aurora became as well-known as the names The Flash and Supergirl. The four heroes that have saved Central City from every danger that has come to face them. And today was the day that Ariella and Sam were finally getting married.

"Mommy too fast." Melissa whined as Kara sped through the streets electing to ignore all the blaring horns of near by drivers.

"We're nearly there sweetie." Kara said as she made a sharp corner. She pulled in front of the venue and parked the car. They got out the car and saw the front doors were about to close. Baryr sped forward and held the doors open.

"Thanks Barr." Kara smiled kissing his cheek as everyone went in he closed the door behind them. They walked in and saw Sam at the altar standing there nervously looking around but calming down upon seeing Barry.

"Took your time son." Joe chuckled

"Human Sharks are harder to knock out that they look." Barry smiled, "Can you look after the twins?" He asked as Joe graciously nodded as both twins grabbed onto each one of his hands. Barry jogged up to the altar as Sam smiled at him.

"My best man is late on my wedding?" Sam asked

"Sorry about that." Barry chuckled sheepishly. The two door at the fron swung open causing Barry to get flashbacks to his wedding, to seeing Kara walk down the aisle, to seeing her nearly trip over and slipping the ring on her finger. He remembers it all like it was yesterday. 

Ariella walked down the aisle as Kara stood across from Barry, their eyes met and they both knew what each other was thinking. Ariella got to the altar inviting Sam to lift up her wedding gown.

"Everyone please be seated." H.R said smiling, "Now as you konw i'm not great at speeches, and in fact i don't think i know these two enough to even make a speech, so instead i'll pass the mic to my man B.A." H.R smiled handing the mic over to Barry who was completely unaware.

"Wha-Uhh, so i have nothing prepared so i'm just going to wing it." Barry chuckled earning a few laughs and a bright smile from Kara and the twins," Five years ago, i met Sam and Ariella two people who i barely knew and now i trust them with my life. I've watched as the awkwardness between these two turned into something less awkward until it turned into love and i couldn't be happier or proud of these two." Barry finished. He looked at them both and saw that Ariella and Sam both had massive smiles on their faces.

"Thanks B.A, now let's skip the vows because i know how much you to wanna get married. So by the power vested in me, i now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." H.R said smiling as Ariella and Sam shared a kiss that celebrated their marriage.

During the after party at Jitters, Kara looked around and failed to see her husband. She listened closely and heard his gentle hummin on the roof. The melody taught to him by his mom before her passing.

"What'cha going up here?" Kara asked 

"Nothing much, just thinking about everything that's led up to this moment." Barry smiled as Kara hugged gim from behind and rested her head against his back, "In a way i need to thank Savitar, he led me here, to you." He smiled kissing the top of her head as the roofs doors opened again. Joe peeked his head through as Grant and Melissa came running to their parents. Joe waved and closed the door.

"Woahhhh, it's so pretty." Melissa smiled as Barry lifted her onto his shoudlers

"I wanna see." Grant whined as Kara chuckled and lifted him into her arms. Kara leaned against Barry as the they soaked in the moonlight.

"Barry." Kara whispered

"Yeah?"

"I love you." She smiled

"I love you too." Barry said kissing the top of her head as Grant and Melissa gigggled and hugged their parents.

"I love you as well Kara." Barry said thinking about his late wife.

Eight years ago Barry was killed at the hands of Savitar and given a second chance in life. Barry thought that Savitar's existence was a curse, but it led him to his now wife, and his family. It's stupid but in some way he wants to thank Savitar, even though they're one in the same.

--Afterlife--

"They're happy aren't they?" Kara asked. Ever since her merge original Earth-10 Kara has been watching over Barry and Kara. She feels slightly jealous that she can't be with him anymore or can't be with her kids, but as long as he's happy she doesn't care.

"How are you doing?" Henry Allen asked

"I'm fine." Kara smiled as Henry nodded and left, "I love you Barry." She whispered wiping her eye before walking into the bright light at the end of the tunnel.

(A/N: So this is the end of A Second Chance. Sorry if it feels rushed or it focuses on Sam and Ariella too much, but i feel like this is an appropiate ending.
