Kara was at CCPN writing her latest article when her boss came up to her.

"Great job on your previous article Kara." He said smiling as he placed the article on her desk

"Thanks, Mason." She said smiling and looking at it

"We should go an celebrate tonight." Mason said smiling

"Yeah, we can invite Linda, Samantha, Parke-" Kara said listing off people she got along with at CCPN until Mason interrupted her.

"No, i meant just me and you."  He said still smiling as Kara frowned

"Sorry, i can't" She replied thinking about a certain love of her life.

"Does tonight not work for you?" Mason said 

"Because there are other nights." He said trying to be as flirty as possible

"No, i meant cause i already have an amazing boyfriend." She said smiling as Mason's attitude went from flirty and happy to sad.

"Oh okay." He replied sadly walking off

"Loser." Linda said walking over to her friend's desk

"What do you mean?" Kara asked

"I'm gonna assume he just asked you out?" Linda said as Kara nodded

"Yeah, he does that a lot." Linda said laughing as Kara laughed along

"Why'd you turn him down, not that i'm complaining you would deserve someone way better then someone who can't keep it in his pants." Linda said sending Mason a dirty look

"I already found the perfect one for me." She said smiling

"Really, dish sister." Linda said as Kara fiddled with her glasses

"His name is Barry Allen and he is the best boyfriend in the world." Kara said smiling

"Oh is he that tall brunette guy that i see around Jitters?" Linda asked as Kara nodded again

"He is pretty hot." Linda said as Kara frowned

"You know your talking aobut MY boyfriend, right?" Kara said 

"Sorry, but i have to admit you're pretty luckly." She said smiling as Kara smiled as well

"I know right."She said thinking about Barry

CCPD

Barry was upstairs in his lab processing evidence when there was a knock at the door.

"Hi, can i help you?" He asked as a blonde woman walked in

"Hi, my name is Patty, Patty Spivot and i'm gonna be your CSI partner." SHe replied holding out her hand

"Nice to meet you, my name is Barry Allen." He replied shaking your hand and going back to his microscope

"I know." Patty said as Barry looked at her confused

"Oh sorry i didn't mean in a stalker way i meant that i've read all of your forensic reports and i'm a big fan." Patty said geeking out as Barry let out a sigh of relief

"Really, i don't even i've read them all." He said laughing

"How are they so detailed?" She asked as Barry smiled

"It's just who i am i guess." He replied as Patty put her stuff down at her desk

As Barry went back to work and Patty sat at her desk she managed to get in a few not so subtle glances at Barry. Barry chose to ignore them and kept working until his phone rang
