I sat comfortably on the floor sharing almost burnt caramel corn with Connie while Connor glared at me for stealing his girlfriend. I teased him about it all night.

"Sorry, she likes me more," I teased him, sticking my tongue out. My brother rolled his eyes.

"That not what the hickey on his neck is saying," Ryan spoke up touching the mark on the boys lower neck. I looked at Connor wide eyes before looking back at Connie who was trying to hide her red face.

"Connie!" I squealed. I looked back over at my brother, "Connor!" I rolled my eyes jokingly. The two of them were cute together. I hoped they had a happy ending. They deserved it.

We all laid around the large living room watching Talladega Nights. No, it wasn't a Christmas movie, not even close to being one, but it was a movie we all loved and had to watch.

I glanced over at connie with the biggest grin on my face, removing my hand from my sweatpants pocket it, making it into a fist and holding it out in front of her.

"Shake?" I asked her. She looked at me confused, but a smile tugged onto her lips.

"And bake!" She squealed. She collided her fist with mine which only caused us to start laughing.

A sudden knock on the door caused us to stop. I happily sighed.

"I'll get it," I murmured. I threw the heavy warm blankets off of my cold body and shivered while walking to the front door. Everyone found it warm in here, but I was always freezing.

I tiredly placed my hand on the doorknob and opened the door. I was shocked when I saw Guy standing there. Why was he here? My heart fluttered.

"G-Guy?" I questioned nervously. He had tears streaming down his face, his eyes bloodshot. He was shivering in the freezing cold snow that continued to fall, "c-come inside, its freezing-"

He quickly shook his head, removing his hands from his pockets, "no," he said, "I want to make this quick, please?"

I let out a small sigh and nodded, "okay..," I mumbled. I stepped out onto the snow covered porch after sliding my uncles huge shoes on that sat by the door. I shut the door behind me and tried to hug myself to keep me warm. It was freezing cold.

"Look, I know you hate me right now and don't want to talk to me," he bit his shaky lip, "but I need to say this, and, I, I just need you to listen."

I felt myself start to tear up as he cried. My heart sank. I nodded my head.

"I'm listening," I quietly said. Guy swiftly moved forward, placing his cold hands on my arms. He held me tightly.

"Like the song says, don't you know that I'm the only one for you?" He croaked, his voice breaking. I felt a single tear stroll down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away. The boy removed his hands from me and backed up the slightest bit, "Laney, you are my world. I care about you so much, it's unreal. I have never felt a way like you make me feel, and now that you're gone, it's empty, and nothing can replace that feeling. I'm lost without you. I'm am so sorry for being such a jerk and getting angry with you and not respecting your decision at all. But Laney, doll face, angel eyes, I can't lose you again. I don't want to lose you at all. I want you back. You are the only one for me."

I wiped away the cold tears that poured out of my eyes. I walked closer to Guy and wrapped him into a tight hug, standing on the tips of my toes so I could reach him. I hugged him tightly to comfort him, to comfort myself.

I pulled away from him. I placed my warm hands on his cold cheeks and wiped away his tears with the tip of my thumbs. I slowly leaned forward and place a small kiss on his lips. Feeling him kiss me back made me realize how much I missed him and how lucky I was to have him in my life.

I slowly moved my arms behind his neck, running my hands through his soft blonde hair. I pulled away and just hugged him tightly, burying my face in his neck.

He rubbed my back as I started to sob. There was just so much going on, I couldn't take it. He slowly put me back onto the ground. I felt my feet hit the porch.

The both of us were crying, we were both emotional train wrecks. I looked into his sparkling glossy eyes that you could easy get lost on.

"You are the only one for me," I hoarsely spoke, "you make everything easy. You are my better half, my saving grace, and I don't know what I'd do without you, and I'm so so sorry that I didn't tell you. Trust me, I really do, I trust you with my entire life, with everything."

"That's okay. Whenever you're ready, I'm here, okay?" He stared down at me with a small smile while nodded his head. I placed a small kiss on his cheek and nodded my head.

"Thank you," I softly said. The two of us pulled away from each other. It was getting colder minute by minute, and I had to get back to my family, and I knew he had family back at home. I held ahold of the boys hands tightly.

"Do you still want to be my girlfriend?" He adorably asked. I slightly laughed and nodded my head.

"Of course I do," I grinned. He returned the smile.

"You look really beautiful, you know that?" My cheeks turned a bright shade of red. My smile grew.

"And you look ruggedly handsome," he playfully rolled his eyes at my words and let out a small laugh himself.

He let out a small sigh. I studied his face, not wanting to look away. He was mine.

"I don't want to leave, but I have too," he told me. I nodded my head.

"Yeah, I understand," I responded. We hugged each other one last time before pulling away. He left a small kiss on the bridge of my nose, eventually backing away and heading down the stairs.

I crossed my arms back over my chest with a smile on my face. Everything was alright. I found myself again. I waited until he got in his car to head back inside to the warm house.

I took my uncles shoes off and headed over to the mirror by the front door. I tried to wipe away the remainder of my tears but nothing could hide my red eyes and red cheeks. I gave up and headed back into the living room.

When I walked into the room I saw everyone sitting in the same spots they previously had. Ryan sent me a confused look.

"Who was at the door?" He asked me, causing me to stop. He then noticed my red eyes, "and why were you crying? Laney, is everything okay?"

I nodded my head sending him a small smile, "it was Guy," I said. This grabbed Connor and Connie's attention. They were all worried.

"What'd he do now? What'd he say?" Connor asked with a harsh tone. When he saw my smile his face softened.

"We're good. Everything is fine, I swear," I told them. I saw Connie slowly start to smile.

"For real?" She asked me with hope. I nodded my head.

   "For real."
