Part 3: THE FINAL PART

I turned around and started to sprint home, but i didn't get far without being grabbed in a pair of strong arms. The arms lifted me of the ground and held me tight,

But not too tight

The familar scent made my heart relax its fast pace, but it didn't stop me from trying to escape the embrace.

"Sana!" Zero yelled as i broke away from his arms. He pressed his lips into mine, i slowly pulled away, my hands shaking
"Zero we m-must get home n-now"

Tears started to fill my eyes and he didn't say another thing,

We got into Zero's car that was nearby
We rushed home.

"Sana, whats going on?" Zero said loudly as we were speeding
"I d-don't know" i put my hands on both sides of my head and tightly pulled my hair as i began to cry
"They are going to hurt Kenna because they chose not to kill you" i whispered

All of a sudden my back slammed into the seat as Zero started to speed even faster
I clenched my jaw tightly and closed my eyes. The window besides me cracked and Zero loudly yelled "Sana calm down! No one will ever hurt Kenna. I won't allow it to happen."

As we got to the front of the house the front door was wide open, i bolted out of the car and headed to the door. The dimming sky hid the figures in the shadows, or maybe i just was too focused on my daughter to notice. I started to go up the steps, images from my childhood flashed through my mind.

Not a second after i reached the third step i was flung back by a man who charged out the front door. I fell hard onto the ground and the man moved so fast. I didn't even notice how he manage to get a hold of my throat, ready to tear it into shreds.

I closed my eyes but before anything happened the pressure from the man was gone. I opened to see Hanabusa.

"Hurry and get up! This place is surrounded!"

I grabbed his hand and he pulled me off the ground

"Kaname sent all of us to help you so be thankful" Ruka added, standing beside me now
"Thank you" i said out of breath

I ran into the house and as i hit the stairway i saw Zero running toward me only to be hit as someone bursted through the wall, he was thrown into the side of the stairs and part of it collapsed

"Zero!"
"Go Sana, get Kenna!" He yelled, struggling to hold the vampire back
"Zero-"
A high pitched scream came from upstairs
"Sana now!" He shouted
i looked at him "i love you Zero" i said as loudly as i could
and ran upstairs

As i came to my daughters room it was empty, torn apart. Another scream came from my bedroom.

I quickly bursted through the door and found the HeadMaster unconscious. He was still breathing, i picked up his gun and ran into the bathroom where the ruckus was coming from. I saw the back of a tall man. The anti-vampire weapon caused my hand to sting but it didn't stop me from shooting the man, watching him disappear into dust.

I saw a weeping girl and cradled her into my arms.
"Momma! I'm scared" she cried loudly as she gripped my shirt tight.

I went into my room and locked the door, pushing the dresser in front of it.
Not a second later loud bangs came from the other side, it won't be long before it breaks. I carried Kenna into the corner of my room away from the door
