"So you're tellling me... you don't have any other exes other than Taehyung?" Chaeyoung asked as she rose from dipping her face inside our textbooks. My eyes widened before shaking my head. What do they think I am? An innocent 21 year old?"I do! They're just all different from Kim Taehyung and I'd rather not talk about those traumatic experiences." I said before pursing my lips as I highlight a sentence.
"Well they're still exes so somehow they're not too different." Jennie said and borrowed the highlighter I was using. I bit my lip and pondered. She has a point but Taehyung isn't like the others... personality wise.
I looked at Lisa and she just shrugged.
"Maybe if we figured out what Unnie dislikes about the others then maybe you can get over Taehyung easily."
I see. That's a nice tactic. I agreed and Chaeyoung looked so excited. Hmm, I guess I never did tell them about my exes.
"There's only 2 though, before Tae." I said and raised my fingers making a peace sign.
"Okay okay, so??"
This is such a bother. I don't want to talk about them. It's just cringey, God.
I looked over to my friends and they were all just anticipating what comes out of my mouth next.
"First Boyfriend was when I was in Junior High. 8th grade."
The wooed in unison before chuckling. These girls..
"Anyways, he's a total douche. He has this superiority complex thinking he's just being less to make way for other people. I only thought I liked him because we got partnered for Ballroom Dancing and he started pursuing me ever since. I didn't want to have a boyfriend! I got pressured because he kept asking me and kept getting upset... I know better now. So that's... that. " I ended the first ex with that as shivers ran down my spine in utter disgust. If I had to choose humiliation for the rest of Junior High or date him, I'd jump off a cliff instead.
It's just equal with the humiliation part.
"That sounds... infuriating. Taehyung is nothing like that. So that's crossed out!" Chaeyoung said and made an X mark with her arms. I smiled and agreed.
I glanced at Jennie and she was just grinning.
"Unnie, tell me your second ex was better."
I shrugged.
"It was eh."
"Eh?!" Chaeyoung asked making my ear ring. Right, we were schoolmates when I was in Senior High. So I guess she'd know about him.
"Gong Raewon wasn't eh, Unnie! Everyone liked him, Liz and Jen. I mean everyone! He's pretty great. I just don't know how Jisoo Unnie and him broke up."
I smiled before flipping the pages of my book.
"Same thing with Taehyung. Though this felt more mutual. We just liked each other casually, not too passionately to be driven mad when we broke up." I simply said and sighed. Yeah, the only thing traumatic about that was his non stop fan girls. Jesus, they were just something else.
Like Taehyung, he's a great guy. Just...
Not my type. Taehyung isn't as well but... I love him. Types are good for nothing when you just love someone.
"So, how about Taehyung? What did you hate about your third relationship?"
"Jisoo!"
My head shifted to my window at the familiar muffled voice.
