''I'm just thinking of having a few people over tonight. We haven't done anything since Harper's party, you know...'' Ayran said to me. I couldn't help but scoff as I held the phone between my shoulder and ear, picking up another shirt out of the pile of clothes I finally washed.

''The party was only four days ago, dude.'' I said to him. It didn't even feel like only four days, considering everything that happened between me and Avery. I always felt like time stopped when I was with him, regardless if we were friends or not. He's just that great to be with, I guess.

''I won't invite Harper if that makes you feel better?'' He suggested. I couldn't help but frown at his words, pushing aside the pile of clothes that laid on my bed and sat down.

''I don't want to exclude her from anything, especially now.'' I told him.

''Do you still miss her or something? Dude, you know she's only friends with the girls. She doesn't like Billy or Avery... especially Avery.'' He said, his voice lingering off towards the end of the sentence. I pulled myself up from my bed, walking over towards the windows in my room. It was pretty sunny outside, to say the least. The sunlight almost hurt my eyes... but yet again, I've been inside all day.

I guess I should go out.

''I definitely don't miss her, but she's still my friend. Just invite her and see what happens.'' I told him.

''Alright, I'll see you and Avery later... I'm sure he's still at your house.'' He said sarcastically into the phone. I shook my head at his words, feeling my face get hot at his laughter in my ear.

''He's not even here-'' I started. I heard a knock at the door before I can finish my sentence, followed by Avery walking in with a sheepish smile on his face.

''...Yeah, sure James. I'll see you later.'' He said, hanging up immediately afterwards.

''Who was that?'' Avery asked, approaching me with his arms opened wide. I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him into a tight embrace. I felt him bury his face into my neck, a sigh of relief leaving him afterwards. We were only apart for a little over a night...

It feels like it's been days.

''It was Ayran. He wants all of us to come over his house tonight, if you want to go.'' I told him. He pulled away from me, gazing at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Are you sure you want to go to another party?" He asked me.

"He said he's just gonna be the guys and Harper, Amber and Sapphire. It shouldn't be too bad!" I exclaimed. Avery rolled his eyes at the mention of Harper, dropping his hands from my shoulder and walking over to the pile of clothes on my bed.

I watched as he began folding my clothes without asking me, easily folding them without any trouble. They were definitely a lot neater than mine, to say the least.

"You know how Harper feels about smoking, right? They are probably gonna bring the bong and a hookah." He said to me. I didn't even think of that.

"Well... I'm sure Ayran is gonna tell her. Hopefully." I mumbled to myself. He shook my head at my words, picking up the last shirt that I had in the pile.

"I hope she doesn't go period. That girl is nothing but bad news."

He helped me put my clothes away after that. He also went around my room and picked up any garbage that didn't make it into the small trash can I had- along with picking up any dirty laundry I left behind. I leaned against the wall with my arms tucked under each other as he leaned down to the ground, his long necklace dangling down his neck as he reached for the wrappers.
