"Bye, I'm going to my room." Miku stands up.
"Wait, don't leave yet!" Kotaro says.
"I don't want to study."
"If you stay and study, I'll reward you!"
"What's in it for us?" Miku asks.
"Yeah, what's in it for us, Akashiro-san?" Yotsuba interrupts.
"I'll... think about it."
"Well then, see you." Miku starts walking away.
"Fine, fine! I'll take you guys somewhere this weekend!" Kotaro says in the heat of the moment.
"This weekend?! We need to study!" Futarou says.
"Come on, Futarou! Trust me on this."
"Okay, fine." Miku sits in front of the table once again.
Miku and Yotsuba then answer the quiz Kotaro made.
Meanwhile, Kotaro sits at the piano on the corner of the living room, and he starts playing.
"I thought we were supposed to be studying, Kotaro." Futarou says, irritated.
"I'm just playing music to relax you guys, chill."
A few minutes later,
"I'm done." Miku puts her pen down.
"I'm done, too!" Yotsuba says.
"Futarou, go grade Yotsuba's paper. I'll grade Miku's paper."
After checking...
"You did well on the History quiz, Miku. That's great!"
"Thank you."
"Yotsuba... you're doing your best..." Futarou says, dreadfully.
"Yes!"
"Let's start studying for real this time."
For the rest of the day, they studied hard. Later that day,
"You're still here?" Itsuki yawns.
"We're already done." Futarou says.
"Bye, Uesugi-san! Bye, Akashiro-san!" Yotsuba waves at them.
"Bye." Miku says.
"See you." Kotaro and Futarou both leave the Nakano residence.
On their way home,
"You know, I don't mind having you as my step brother." Kotaro says.
"Me too." Futarou replies.
